She looked away completely and she didn’t want to look at his shocked face. She felt very embarrassed at the moment and she just looked back over at him. “Does it make you think differently of me?..” She question him as her head was high and she held her ground like a true Queen would. “I..Your sister and I have a lot in common then.. But..I don’t know if I would be able to choice between you and my people feeling the way that I do.. There so much of you that I have to know and I have to learn and care for.. I don’t think I would be able to pick.. But, you won’t make me pick right, Felix?” She spoke very kindly but her voice was nervous, shaking. It made her go back to a past in her life that she would never ever want to talk about or even think about. Her hands were at her side and she had a space between them. Just till she heard his answer. Avery didn’t want to continue with him if he was ever going to make her pick. Her beautiful sky blue eyes looked into his with so much wonder and curiosity that she couldn’t look away from his.

"Of course not!" He pressed his lips to her temple in attempt to wipe away the front she'd put up with him. He didn't want to compete with the royal façade of her. As he had promised to her, Felix just wanted the real Avery. No games, no masks, just openness.  "Would it make you feel differently to know I've done a lot more than kiss, if you catch my drift?" He could feel the space she'd created between them but he didn't invade it. Instead he let his hand run through his hair in exasperation at how quickly the conversation had turned. How infuriated he was getting over his intentions being question by a girl he hadn't know all that long but who's opinion of him he cared for.  "Who would I make you choose between? That's not my thing. I'm not my father."

She looked into his eyes as she slowly nodded her head. Her fingers were holding his shirt tightly and she was afraid to let him go. Avery silently hope that she would be enough for him and she hoped that he would start to really like her as she was starting to with him. Her giggle came again from her lips as she had a huge smile. “I have to be honest with you, my prince. I must confess that you well.. Took my first kiss..” She blushed hard as her cheeks rose with a deep red and her eyes looked down at the floor. They stood in the library where it was her safe haven. She hope that everything would turn out okay between them. “But, who would take the crown after your parents death? You can’t just let your people without a ruler.” She softly spoke very politely and she said. “Beside.. Why don’t you want to rule your country?..” Her voice became softer as she was worried that she was going into somewhere that would make him upset. She never wants to upset him.

His smile faltered in shock as he realised just how innocent the Hungarian girl was. He had believed it to be a show of good grace and maturity but she truly was everything people had made her to be. "Your first kiss? Well in that case... I am honoured to be the one to have had the privilege." Felix's fingers traced her heated cheeks as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. "My people will have a fantastic ruler. My sister. Everyone thinks i'm doing Frey the favour by giving her the throne but I owe her." Head bowed in deep thought and recollection of past memories, Felix continued. "I could never put my country above everything else. I can't make the sacrifices that she has. I'm too self-orientated. A bit of a narcissist. And awfully lazy, it would be a disaster."

His fingers combed her hair from her face, before his hand skated down her cheekbone to cup her jaw in his hand. He had never intended to kiss her so soon. He was fully prepared to put in the effort and yet here they were, his plan compromised in favour of proving how serious he was. "Well then you'll love the second one." He laughed, his eyes crinkling in complete satisfaction at the giggle he'd produced from her. "I would willingly let you come between my father and I, Avery. I don't have a throne to worry about and frankly, there is no competition, we aren't on the greatest of terms to begin with."
