First, thank you for your concern. For the past 20 odd years that we have dabbled in chastity and denial, I've been aware of the convey tional wisdom that "a man needs to come at least once every {time period} to avoid prostate problems."

The problem is that the {time period} is never really defined by any study; rather it is a guess based on very incomplete data. I've seen once a week once a month, and even once a quarter in various publications. But the true answer is probably that there are a lot of other factors that will have even more of an impact than the frequency of ejaculations.

Probably one's overall health and attention to their body has a bigger influence on prostate issues than anything else. But it does seem to be true that a man's plumbing can get backed up and in some instances cause irritation.

That said, it's pretty easy for men to clean out the plumbing. It doesn't need to be irregular ejaculations (ie, orgasms), so much as the body needs to expel semen. The chastity community talks about milking, but this could just as easily happen with ruined orgasms, as long as one makes the semen flow periodically... for some value of periodic.
