The backlash was from people complaining about the supposed sexism of the shirt. You know this. As an employee of Old Navy, the producer of the clothing, you are also aware of the boy’s version which simply has the GB logo without the “in training” text. This additional text, which MAJOR MEDIA OUTLETS like Jezebel, Mashable, et al are reporting as “everyday sexism” is what landed Old Navy in hot water, causing them to pull the product.

Honestly I’ve said it before, but I seriously think one of the primary reasons feminists hate MRA’s is entirely because feminist hates “competition”. They like the prospects of being the only rights group in existence, and by squashing out or assimilating smaller groups they can claim to parade for all peoples rights while really only focusing on women’s issues.

MRA’s haven’t been coopted though, they basically can’t be because they don’t use the same theories and data in practice, or if they do they use them to point out glaring flaws in accepted data & logic by feminist organizations.
