y'all should go check out first kill !! it's an amazing show with TWO lesbian leads :)
hello!
this is something that is really hard to talk about for me because of my family. since 6th grade, i knew i was attracted to girls. I always pushed it away, not wanting to deal with it. so, i kept pining after boys. i was attracted to them as well, and just thought that i could get away with just dating boys.
so that's what i did, until this easter.
a mutual friend, that i'll call 'liz', started talking to me. and slowly, it became something more. me and liz would flirt back and forth but never actually did anything.
now, i used to always push aside my girl crushes. so when liz asked me out, i had a dilemma.
i could either be happy, or keep living my life with half my face showing. at this point, i was 15. i was sick and tired of not being able to live how i wanted to. life was boring. i would go to school, practice, then home to do homework. no friends, no time with friends, it got depressing.
so i made my decision, i said yes. i told her to keep it a secret, and gave her the choice to continue dating me or find someone else that she can show affection for 24/7.
she stuck with me.
i was so happy, this was the first time i looked my sexuality in the eye and said, ' i know you're there, come on out'
a few weeks later though, i was hanging out with my cousins, when they kept making comments about the LGBTQ community. and not nice ones.
i called liz crying that night. and the next morning she called and said the we should break up so that i could prepare myself for coming to terms with everything, and to have time coming out.
irl, i'm out to my sister and best friend.
the reason this is hard for me is because i'm already harassed by my father for being a feminist, that's right. i get harrassed for believing that everyone should have equal rights, in the usa.
i'm also scared that if he finds out, he will convince people that i'm only saying that so that i can be a part of the LGBTQ community for my political beliefs.
but, like any good daughter would say... he can rot in hell with the other assholes.
so now, i'm taking off this mask and telling you.
i am bisexual
hey y'all um actually i am a lesbian 😭
sorry for not posting i kind of pushed this app on the backburner while i focused on life and highschool. i have recently graduated tho so 😁
hello my lovelies! i apologize for being ia, school has been a lot lately but im hoping to be more active and begin posting again very soon! much love, ky 💗
Hello I'm a boy but can I still be a feminist? am I allowed to follow this blog and talk about feminism, and such, if not I understand, I was just wondering
ofc! men can absolutely be feminists. feminism just means that you believe in equality for everyone regardless of gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. and i do encourage you to look more into it and understand others, these types of blogs can do that!
i also understand if you feel uncomfortable talking about it openly, but as long as you're educated on the matter and take minorities opinions into considerations there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to talk about feminism. :)

IF YOU’RE SHORT ON CASH, HERE’S ANOTHER WAY TO DONATE TO BLM WHILE BROWSING THE INTERNET:
There’s an extension called Tab for a Cause that donates money to charity every time you open a new tab (on Chrome or Firefox).
Basically, it puts two or three small ads on your new tab page and then donates the ad revenue to charity.
You’ll get Hearts every time you open up a page, which act as “votes” that you can donate to various charities to tell Tab for a Cause where you want your money to go.
There are a few charities that are always available for donations, but Tab for a Cause also “spotlights” a new charity every month – and starting today (June 2), in support of the BLM movement, the spotlighted charity is the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
Also, did I mention it’s incredibly gorgeous and functional, too? You can customize your new tab background, take notes, create to-do lists and more (I’ve been using this extension for several years and I still have yet to get sick of it)!!
For those concerned about possible scams, this extension is super transparent. All of its code is open-source (x) (x) (x), and you can see all its quarterly financial reports right here.
Seriously, this is so so so easy – I usually hate posts that are all “there’s no reason not to do this!” but right now, I genuinely cannot think of even a single reason not to do this.
That said, if there is somehow something standing in your way, you can still help by boosting this post like crazy – I’m not a big blog, so every share counts. Otherwise, please take 30 seconds and install Tab for a Cause by clicking this link or typing tab.gladly.io into your search bar.
(By the way, that if you use the specific link in this post, it’ll register as a referral for me, which will give me 250 bonus hearts to donate to NAACP… just saying.)
