as much as i think the boys is one of the few shows that actually does 8 episode seasons really well, i feel like the boys filler episodes could also be some of the most fun television like ever. the money i would give to just watch the boys go on little side quests to take down less serious supes and have time to further explore their bond and everything. imagine the fun team ups we could get. like the insanity of billy, annie, and kimiko having a mission or how fucking funny maeve and hughie could be. they do a really good job of giving us found family moments in the show but i wish we had more bc they’re my favorites
