ramblings about the album below :]

This is the 4th of a quartet of albums I was really excited to finish. Basically these started as just a way to share my music with my friends as I learned how to make music and over time you can hear how I've improved! I since started going to school to learn more about making music, and am about to graduate. I have more focused projects in the future but you will probably still see similar albums like this from me sharing music I've made with my friends :]

This album also includes recordings of my modular synthesizer system! The songs that use my system are all recorded in one take!* (*except for one that incorporates modular synth recordings with MIDI) I made these songs without a computer at all! This also means that they are a little more experimental so you may hear some recording artifacts and they can be a bit long--I encourage you to hear them out! Here are the songs I recorded with my modular system, and songs put together on my computer.

I honestly think that most people are handling their animals wrong. like why are you getting mad when they start growling and hissing when you pick them up and touch them and ignore all their signals that they Don't Like It and then get so upset and surprised when they swipe at you or bite! YOU'RE the problem here! LISTEN to them! they are displaying those signals to you for a reason!!

My old roommate kept picking up one of my cats, who would struggle to get away. I asked him why, he said, "He needs to get used to it."

Why? What is he missing out on that is terribly important? Will he die if he doesn't let you pick him up? Will he starve? Will he be in some way in danger of losing his body or soul?

No. So stop being a selfish dick. Go pick up a cat who likes it.

In completely unrelated news, this cat would swipe at this roommate from his tower every time he walked by, usually enough to draw blood. Go figure.

(in case anyone worries there'd be a danger of the cat needing to be ok with being picked up in times of actual danger, he would let me pick him up any time I liked, because I'd let him down as soon as he seemed uncomfortable)
