Flowers

If April showers

bring May flowers,

Aren't better things coming

Rain can be

A chance for growth,

They hurt

in the moment

but the sadness

The storms may be dark,

An smol art I made for my local library's Tiny Art Show (acrylic on canvas).

ETA since I've gotten multiple comments regarding selling this piece:

My art as a whole is not for sale, nor do I plan for it to ever be. This is a hobby that I do just because I enjoy it, and I do it when I feel like it. I have no intentions to turn it into a source of income, because I don't want to burn out and lose my interest in doing this. (Additionally, this piece in particular has been donated to the local library for their community art show and is therefore not available to sell even if I wanted to)

Secondly, a number of profiles of people looking to buy my art describe themselves as NFT collectors, so I want to additionally emphasize that I will NEVER sell my art as an NFT or to someone who may have intentions to turn it into one, and future attempts from NFT collectors to buy my art will be blocked.

Ok, so, I normally struggle a lot with getting animal fur textures right when I try to draw them, but I was too inspired by the scrunge to not at least make an attempt here. The face definitely got a little wonk around the nose but I think other than that it actually turned out okay.
