A friend recently told me this.

When going through a recent breakup of mine, a friend told me 2 questions that i should always ask myself while moving on to the future. Where am I going? and  Who am I going with?

In that order.

I had always heard the “Focus on your career and yourself” advice.  But I never thought anything past it, and subsequently making it a question made me think about it fully. If you’re going through troubles of love,friends, struggles with understanding yourself or just struggles with outside people, always think of these 2 questions. I see myself as a productive nihilist, (with trivial things that don’t matter to myself or society being a small exception) someone who says “What’s the point of doing this when nothing matters anyway?” and their answer is always “Why not?” Set a goal for yourself, make huge goals that can make you look far into the future, and daily goals to get you stepping towards said future. and when you finally have it all planned out, and you can see your path clearly,  THEN you can worry about everyone else. and then you ask yourself. “Who am I going with?” Just food for thought, expect some new art in the upcoming weeks.
