folks ask me pretty often how i learned to crochet because they want to learn too, and it feels like maybe they’re expecting a more elaborate response but free youtube crochet patterns taught me everything i know today about crochet. just looking up [something you’re interested in] + beginner crochet tutorial is the best place to start when learning how to crochet. look up things you don’t understand as you go. i only learned how to make my own patterns because i made so many patterns that were available to me for completely free, at a beginner level, and picked up techniques as i went
