This is the second installment in the series. It was great to see how the characters continue to progress on how you really tell their story is set up in a way that it’s going to captivate you to read until the end, the queen of Cliff Hangers strikes again, leaving you earning to continue to read the series to know what will happen to these be loved characters. Overall, this story has met my expectations and more. I’m grateful for the fact that the author was able to put mornings in case people are aware of the different tropes but overall this story continues to keep breaking boundaries and evolving and that’s a great thing for me. it was a great story!

This was dark monster romance at its finest. From the very first page, the story pulled me into its dark and addictive atmosphere. Even though Dark Obsessions can be read as a standalone, Lexi C. Foss does a fantastic job building the world and pacing the story so everything flows naturally.

I really enjoyed the buildup between Vivi and Ciprian. Their dynamic is intense, full of tension, obsession, and undeniable chemistry. Ciprian being the powerful Strigoi King with possessive tendencies definitely adds to the darker vibe of the story, while Vivi brings a strong curiosity and determination that makes their connection even more engaging.

The plot kept me hooked the entire time. I loved the dark tone, the supernatural elements, and the way the story explored obsession and fate between the characters. It had just the right balance of dark tension, romance, and spice to keep me turning pages.

If you enjoy vampire kings, dark fated mates, morally gray antiheroes, and monster romance with steam, this is definitely one to add to your TBR.

Overall, this book exceeded my expectations and was a fun, addictive read. I’m excited to see what Lexi C. Foss writes next

This story was thrilling from start to finish. Packed with adventure, danger, and sizzling tension, the plot keeps you turning pages just to see what will happen next. I loved how Evangeline Anderson introduced each character so clearly and showed exactly what they had to fight for to earn their happily ever after.

The balance in this book was perfect,strong world-building, meaningful obstacles, emotional depth, and yes… deliciously spicy scenes that added heat without overpowering the story. What really stood out to me was the emotional connection. Being able to truly feel the characters’ struggles, growth, and journey toward one another made this such a satisfying read.

Overall, this was a beautifully written romantasy with heart, heat, and high stakes. I loved how the author brought every character to life and showed how they ultimately found their way to each other. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

This story beautifully shows how love, support, and community can help conquer even the darkest moments. Seneca and Sunny’s journey was told with such heart. I was truly inspired by how smoothly the story flowed—I felt connected not only to the main characters but also to the side characters who brought so much life to the world.

I loved everything about this book. It had all the emotions, all the feels, and watching their adventure unfold toward a much-deserved HEA was so satisfying.

Overall, it met my expectations and more. A wonderful addition to the Were Zoo series!
