I don't like heated rivalry at all but holy fuck can you people say you hate it in a normal way. "Slop show", "porn hub show" wtf are you fuckers even saying.

Why are we acting like shows have never had sex scenes in them. Are you people okay??? Why are you all stupid all of sudden. Did you all get collective amnesia and forget that a majority of adult shows have people having sex in them?

After seeing shadow milk's dominion of the beasts, it's safe to assume that the soul jams of beasts also talk to them the way the ancients' ones do. Except you know, in a way that's not helpful or encouraging, but to make things worse. It wouldn't shock me if the beast either keep theirs silent on purpose or the soul jams really have stopped speaking to them (depends i guess). Seeing Deceit do a literal, "you can't leave me/get rid of me because no one else would want you" thing to shadow milk it's clear the corruption has turned the soul jams into the worst versions of itself. It's interesting to see them reflect their owners. While the heroes' soul jams want good things for their owners, the beasts' ones want things to continue to go gownhill for theirs. I imagine having those things encouraging the beast's behavior and having them talk in their ears probably has helped to deteriorate their already poor mental states further. Think about it: your in the most horrible time of your life and thing that's supposed to help you (be on your side, encourage you, guide you) just keeps filling your mind with worse and worse things. Putting nothing but negative ideas and thoughts in your head. Making things worse. And cause you've done this job alone for the most part (shouldered this burden alone), there's no one to turn to for help or advice or to even ground you. This thing that's supposed to help you is the only thing to turn too, as you've done all your life. So you do listen to it because its always been with you, here for you, guided you. Why wouldn't it be on your side? Be here to help you now? In such a low point in your life? It only wants what's best for you. It hears you, understands you. It knows what it's talking about. Then after finally being "free" you get locked up in this isolated jail stuck alone with nothing but it to keep you company. Giving it leeway and ample time to keep telling you these negative things and encourage your bad behavior for a very long time. No peace or quiet to actually reflect on your actions.

I'm not trying to excuse the beasts behavior. But it seems they were already screwed over even in the beginning of their corruption. And now no doubt the soul jams are causing their corrupted minds to worsen and became more twisted. It's all so interesting.

I'll defend booktok women and women who just like those kinds of books in general until my dying breath. The amount of disdain I see towards those women for their apparent crime of being horny, expressing their sexuality out loud, and enjoying sometimes poorly-written books is astounding.

The amount of you who are so okay with sticking your nose down at them and expressing how gross and stupid they are for daring to enjoy such bad material is huge. Critiquing what books they read, and ideas they have is perfectly normal–in fact that's what you're suppose to be doing when it comes to books–but this criticism is so wrapped up in the hatred and belittling of these women it's insane.

You people really like to cover up this blatant misogyny under the guise of really pushing that, "guys this behavior man's is problematic and creepy! How are women into him and this???? 🤢🤮💀💀🤡" shit that i see all the time. But we need to call these books out!you say, so women and girls are aware and know! You don't see how that line of thinking is clearly pointing out that women, and girls for that matter, are too dumb and naive to know already? Why is it a constant thing of warning these women and not calling men out for real life shit?

These women know all about what they're reading is 'problematic', stop treating like their newly birthed sheltered morons. Instead of being happy with the fact that they're reading at all (we all the know the state of reading right now) and encouraging discussions and engaging with them and being happy for them, you treat them like garbage for daring to even like it.

Why are y'all not waggling your fingers at them and saying "naughty naughty" for reading more "acceptable" literature like Frankenstein or Dantes Inferno or Shakespeare, etc etc? Don't they deserve to know how bad some of the stuff in these books are in case they don't know? They needed be to reminded constantly guys, they're minds might not be able comprehend it! Or do we not need to cause they were suppose to have studied that in school?

Maybe it's because the books they're reading are very much for a women's enjoyment solely and for their gaze? Coddling and astonishment always seems to come down hard when it comes to women huh.

You can try and turn into a thing about just wanting to make these women are aware of characters and themes and stuff in the novel being unsafe and unhealthy, but most of us were learning that shit when we were in class reading The Outsiders or Romeo and Juliet, or really any book for that matter. If your 'concerns' in regards to these women and what they read are caked in a thick layer of treating them like their idiots and shaming them for expressing sexuality than maybe you should take an entire football field's stepback.

I don't think there's anything wrong with making fun of these books or criticizing them and the behavior you see from these women, but if you think a lot of isn't connected to misogyny and a hatred/ridicule of women's interests/enjoyment than you are very wrong.

There's fanon, and than there's fanon that completely flies past a character's very clear and obvious interests and details and who they are in general. Like you'll see posts about how a character is a total dunce that hates reading bc they're a himbo and are too neurospicy to focus! And the character is a fucking scholar in canon and its a trait that is so obvious and in your face that its astounding how these people got to where they are with their fanon posts
