Star Trek teaches us many valuable life lessons about friendship, justice, communication and culture, but the most important lesson it teaches us is to never ever go to a conference. It's a trap.

unreasonably funny. the sudden yell. the actual creature itself looking like a fucking muppet. jadzia's "whatsthatisthataspideroradog..!?"
i am HOOKED on the janeway and tuvok show
sorry i'm back at it... janeway calling tuvok her moral compass... girl that man is NOT a neutral observer that is your defence lawyer. your ride or die best friend. your checks and balances are not checking and balancing.
Kira and Shaxs during the resistance for @something-boring. Had a lot of fun with this commission!
janeway… poor little bird indeed
Here's an exchange from "Shattered," Voyager S7E11:
CHAKOTAY: Your first Starfleet posting was on the Al-Batani, where you once knocked out power to six decks by misaligning the positronic relays. JANEWAY: Nice try, but you could have read that in a Maquis intelligence file. CHAKOTAY: How's Mollie, your Irish Setter? You rescued her from a pound on Taris Seti IV. She was the runt of the litter, but you thought she had spunk. You love music, but you never learned to play an instrument. Something you still regret. JANEWAY: How do you know these things? CHAKOTAY: Because you told me, about three years from now.
Chakotay is speaking to the version of Janeway from "Caretaker," who has not yet left on her mission to the Badlands. You know where "about three years from now" counting forward from the series premiere puts us?
I find it hilarious that Chakotay faces off against an angry Baby Janeway with multiple phasers trained on him and his brain jumps straight to that time they spent three months stranded in paradise together. But also, it's canon proof that their time on New Earth involved layers of intimacy we never saw onscreen in "Resolutions."
Between this, not-so-casually revealing that Janeway gave him her engagement gift, and his absurd non-answer when Baby Janeway puts on the bedroom eyes and asks how close they get, it's clear that Chakotay doesn't give a damn about the temporal prime directive when it comes to dropping anvil-sized hints about his longstanding intimate relationship with his captain.
YES! I will place my TWO HANDS on my First Officer's bare chest without the slightest need, because I want to and because I can!
Kate Mulgrew as Janeway in Star Trek: Voyager (S4E08, 1997)
All hands clear the outer sections and prepare for wide-scale breaches.
Janeway becomes more flexible, more open, bolder, sexier, and crazier as she changes her hair over the years. At the time of this photo she's like "get down on your knees and talk to me, because I'm Janeway and I'm incredibly sexy and I'm the baddest girl in the Delta Quadrant!"
The deepest form of connection two people can truly have is when you are in cahoots.

I love the dynamic between the Doctor and B'Elanna. He’s her doctor, but she’s his “doctor” too. They each have to rely on the other when there’s something wrong with them, when they are at their most vulnerable.
