Moonlight Walk, Soft pastel on Pastelmat, 9x12 inches. In this piece, I wanted the moon to be the brightest element, so I used a light yellow for it, while choosing slightly darker tones for the other light areas to emphasize that the moon is the main source of light. Only the sparkles in the snow are as bright as the moon, highlighting the way moonlight plays across the snowy landscape.
This is an imaginative, illustrative piece that’s a bit different from my usual work, but I had a lot of fun creating it. I love snowy winters, moonlit nights, dogs, and long walks, so there was much to enjoy as I worked on it.

"November bid adieu to autumn a bit too early,
but your comfort never left the room,
it's apricity, the warmth of my sun even throughout cold months."
