where the FUCK is the hole in this lineart: a visual mystery novel by me
All digital artists could relate.
A few years ago I went by legiot16, and I could barely draw the simplest objects. one day I went and watched a movie called Zootopia, it was pretty good. I had no idea what the impact the movie would have on me, it was really strange but amazing at the same time. Looking over hundreds of amazing fan drawings of the movie, it simply astounded me of how much of a fandom this movie had acquired. after about 3 months I decided that I wanted to do something like that, so I got some paper and a mechanical pencil (which I still have to this day) and started drawing Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde for a good year and a half. My art looked so ABSOLUTELY terrible, the fandom was extremely nice and encouraged me all the way, and for that I was just beyond grateful. After that, I just lost the passion to draw these characters, so I just stopped. I deleted my old account because of some issues, I was sad for some time, so I thought i would just try again. It still didn’t feel right, so i just stopped again for a little while. One day, I was forced to watch an episode of a show, this show was called My Little Pony. As strange as it sounds, I got the same feeling I had 2 years ago when I first saw Judy and Nick on screen. After watching the first episode, I watched another one, then another one, and another one. I kept this up until I hit season 4 (I think), then I decided that I wanted to draw some fan art, so I drew and i haven’t stopped yet. It’s been about 6-7 months now, and I still can’t draw hands, or humans, or actual looking people. What I can do well, is draw the characters from the show, and I love it, I absolutely love what I draw, which is an amazing feeling to have. I wanted to draw Judy to see how much I’ve improved over the time I stopped drawing her, and I think I did the character justice for once.
No matter what, anyone can draw, anyone can be an artist. If you enjoy what you draw and know that with each drawing you make it’ll get better, than you are an artist.
Thank you Zootopia for taking me on this path, I still love the fandom and everyone apart of it.
Sincerely, legiot.
Oh damn, you've improved immensly from the last time I've reblogged you.
Alright, done. Now back to homework.
Happy Valentine's Day btw, too bad I've gotta finish this essay by morning.
Someone in Discord talked about free hand drawing the other day.
I found a birthday bunny. What do I do with it?
A request I did for another friend in Discord a while ago.
This is Alex the Red...well...Blue Panda.
Day 1 of Hematology class. The subject: The "life cycle" of red blood cells.
I've spent the entire Lunar New Year making this. Time for bed.

It's five already. >.>
I’m still surprised that no one has made this yet. It is not my finest work but I am proud of it.
Ok, this is my last video edit for a while, @MickelPickelVA you were the reason I made this hahaha.
This is fantastic XD
I always had that line played in my head when I watched this scene in particular.
Two officers planning an assault on a gang hideout by nighttime (1990's, colorized)

Me and a friend had a mutual interest in this game, wanting to find an artist that we would commission with a scenario -- mimicking the game's art style. I knew such a comm would cost a lot of cheddar, so I did the next best thing.
A request for a friend in Discord.
Eh, I'm bored.
Gift art for my friend somewhere in Discord
Apparently it's National Hat Day in the US.
I'm not American, and neither is the guy I'm giving this to, but eh -- I was bored.
I asked my school friend to draw plant Nick x) she came up with a few headcanons I’d like to share:
Nick is singing very loud and passionately because he knows it annoys Judy and everyone unless they sing along with him ( I imagine Judy and Clawhauser sing with him mostly).
I talked about how plant Nick doesn’t use his mouth to eat like actual foods but he can drink water… unless he decides to just hold it in his mouth and squirt it at whoever comes by -_- why that little-
Also on the food thing, sometimes he’ll eat food but he doesn’t swallow and instead just makes very smacky chewing sounds because he knows it gets on everyone’s nerves
Plant Nick is a plant, guys. His life as a plant can be boring so he needs /something/ to entertain himself. Unfortunately he decides to tick everybody off for fun but ehh what can we do? …and sometimes he’s a really sweet little plant ^^
I'd like to see hin appear side-by-side with Mario.
Studio Ghibli’s animation software will be made available via open source this month.
That’s right…💯% free.
Read more on CartoonBrew.com
This is a BIG DEAL, folks.
Animation software is, by and large, very expensive and out of the range of most people seeking to get into animation. As of March 26th, this software will become open source and available to all prospective animators!
Spread the word!
Here’s a direct link to the Toonz website.
If I get the choice between this and Source Filmmaker, why should I make a question? Git dat heavenly software right no-- I mean, later these following months.
That’s how mafia works
requested by @hammytotherescue
Okay, so I got a good idea for a meme.
You know the “That’s how Mafia works!” meme? -I’m imagining it as Nick going “That’s how hustlin’ works!”
Idk if it’s been done yet, but I challenge the fandom!
Imma put this riiiiiight here.
