"who do you self insert as when you read?"
This is me when I read:
The story and the theme I believe SJM is penning with the eventual Elucien rejected bond is bigger than just Elain and Lucien. Hell, even Elain and Azriel. Just like Feyre’s story and Nesta’s story were bigger than their respective endgames. Feyre’s journey and her ascent to power marked a change in Prythian and opened the door for other women to follow in her footsteps and rise to power. Nesta and her journey to healing and coming into her own marked a change in Prythian/Illyria/the Library and opened the door for other traumatized women to follow in her footsteps and become warriors in their own rights. Elain’s story will mirror this. With Elain choosing that LOVE matters more than fate, than duty, than societal and cultural expectations, and defying the bond in the name of this love, she’ll open the door for other women to follow in her footsteps and reject unwanted bonds. And it’s not just for the women with bonds that connect them to horrible awful people (see: Tamlin and Rhy’s parents) but women who are bonded to someone they just don’t feel chemistry with, or don’t mesh completely with, or simply don’t have an interest in, no matter how decent or joyful or noble these people might be.
Because SJM said it best: through love, all is possible. And I think this is the heart of the story she’s building in ACOTAR. That it’s not through a mating bond that all is possible. But through love, no matter how that looks.
do i live in fear of a GA shipper picking up a weapon and aiming it at me? no. do i think it's tasteless to joke about gun violence over a ship war? .....yes. yes, i do.
buckle up everybody!!!!!!!!!!!

i almost had a heart attack when i opened IG to bb’s new reel holy fucking shit
"Not now babe, I'm busy staring at the most heartwarming Feysand fanart"
The fanart:

„Sarah J Maas never tried a forced marriage plot“
Yeah well… because the author you claim to love writes about women’s choices. And I think she made her views on forced marriages pretty clear in CC.
Grown women when you tell them Tamlin not being able to communicate his emotions properly isn't an excuse for DA:
the acotar fandom is so special because why does half the fandom hate majority of the media they’re a fan of

Neither Rhysand nor Cassian willingly had sex with someone else after meeting their love interest. But you’re telling me it’s different for Azriel? He’s having sexual fantasies about Elain, be on the verge of sleeping with her, and then suddenly move on to G.yn? You really think Sarah planned it that way?
Elriels laughing like BB didn’t randomly insert Tamlin and Mor so that people wouldn’t get the wrong idea with just the batboys and the sisters 🤭
Good lord, have any of you ever heard of logic
Anon in case you are not aware, Mor and Tamlin are two additional characters who happen to be tied to FEYRE’S books. Which is why they were mentioned in acotar promo, and not the two who ppl online have been harping on about for five years. Acotar is feyre’s, and the spinoffs are for her sisters. The end.
Hating isn’t taking her FMC spot
anyway my princess reigns supreme. ☺️
report back on the crash outs pls bc i refuse to sift through that garbage i just wanna watch from afar 🍿
stanning the inner circle and night court means you will always win in the acotar fandom, and i laugh every time i am proven right.
