I pointed this out early and, honestly, it’s so true.

I have read HUNDREDS of romance novels. Many where you don’t even get the MMCs pov and you definitely don’t get any side characters romance povs. I have never questioned their love for each other. I have especially never questioned SJM when it comes to her characters endgames and attraction. None have ever shocked me.

EVERY SINGLE romance and romantasy follows a pattern and acotar is no different.

So why now am I supposed to question my own reading ability when it comes to Elucien and Elriel? Why now are basic romance writing tools and processes not correct?

I’ve never been surprised by an endgame pairing especially when it comes to sjm so why now am i just supposed to wait and see for elain and luciens pov and what she does with them after 4 books of very clear and obvious Elriel set up(and zero set up for elucien)?

Why is elain not speaking to Lucien on page for the last 800 pages not a big enough indicator for you????

I didn’t need nessians pov, i didn’t need amren x varians pov, i didnt need the side romances in CC povs, etc.

Certain shippers act as though the characters are sentient beings who just happen to not see each other enough so they don’t know each other well enough yet. They are written that way by their creator on purpose. If they were meant to be a love story i wouldn’t have to wait for 4 books for something. It would have started the second they met each other like elriel, like nessian, like feysand.

This is the last interaction we see between Elain and Azriel in ACOSF and I think it perfectly sets the stage for their romance. Their feelings have been slowly building for multiple books now and tension like that can’t be kept secret for long.

Yaz has done nothing wrong. She is the only one who was kind and opened up nice group chats to real SJM fans. Gwynriels stick together. Elriels dox everyone and ruin the fandom. The fandom was good until Elriels ruin it in 2021. Stop bullying Yaz.

I know you’re used to being gaslit, but you should seriously reconsider what you believe and what you don’t. It’s hard to see the bad things from your own side, but one thing is to be unaware and the other is to directly ignore. Gwynriels didn’t exist until 2021, before that, it was mainly Elriel and some Eluciens because Gwyn didn’t exist yet. This “good old times” you’re all so nostalgic about? That’s before ACOSF. Before ACOSF the “real SJM fans” who now constantly hate on the characters and make fun of other readers for enjoying the books (whose fandom they’re a part of btw), these “real” fans didn’t exist and we lived like a normal fandom with its ups and it’s downs.

What you consider “normal” nowadays is a never-ending circle of hate, cockiness and harassment that’s now spread throughout all the main acotar spaces, that of course doesn’t affect you because you’re a part of that circle. And do you know who was a front runner in all of this? You can answer yourself.

I’m not saying there isn’t Elriels who “dox” just because I haven’t seen one, I’m sure there’s bad apples here too, but girl do some introspection. And I’m not bullying Yaz, I’m calling her out for what she did, playing the victim now won’t be of use.

I’ve been here since 2019, I’ve seen it all and know everything, so don’t try to change up facts on me please.
