I’m going to be posting some Youtube guides to fanxyred (with some minor corrections) for a bit (because I’m too lazy to make my own) but I’ll do some translations for some of their videos and instagram or weibo lives soon so there’ll be that to look forward to! In the meantime, I’ll also be posting some of Shawn’s (xichen) songs because they’re amazing and more people should definitely hear them!
Reasons i love this video:
1) When introducing the members, they cut to some of the lines they sing in the album Activate! 2) They also cut to “I’m sorry” from when they were in Acrush and I loveeeee that song 3) It introduces their social media accounts for those interested to follow

A. As opposed to “real name”, for most of them, I believe it’s more of their Chinese stage names B. Regarding Roy calling her fans bacteria, there is a clarification I thought I should make / introduce. They all have “fandom names” of sorts for the whole group and each individual member. For the group, it’s diamonds (钻石). For Roy (An Junxi 安俊浠), it’s 细菌·XiJun (bacteria, she basically “flipped” her name), for Shawn (Peng Xichen 彭兮辰) it’s 城堡 ChengBao (castle, although confusingly, sometimes fans also call her that), for Marco (林凡) it’s 冰淇淋 BingQiLing (ice cream, although this one seems to have been created by the fandom instead of her naming the fans), for K (陆柯燃) it’s 可颂 (croissant, this one is pretty recently “created” on the show 青春有你 Youth With You so I’m not sure if she favours it because she more commonly use diamonds, but many fans have taken it on anyway) C. Roy has popular ship with K (kroy, kejun) - there are another popular ship fanke (Marco and K) that’s recently very popular because they are on the 青春有你 Youth With You show together at the moment. Another ship is Marco/Shawn and the others exist but are generally much less common. D. Shawn has some fuckboy douyins. This is true… but i think almost all of them do (although I do indeed see much more from Shawn and Marco in general).
