FFVIII Character Week closes.
Hey everyone. This is a sad, but long-overdue announcement. Unfortunately, FFVIII Character Week hasn't been sparking interest for months now, and I think the event has run its course. I don't think it makes much sense to continue pouring time and energy into something that simply doesn't work. I'm sure I could have done better maintaining it, and I'm sorry I didn't.
So, Ultimecia's week (September event) was the last one of the Character Week series.
The prompts lists and AO3 collections will stay open and available for anyone who may want to use them; the prompts lists that haven't been moved yet will be created on AO3 in the next few days. If new fanworks come up through those, I'll surely reblog them, but that's it.
Thank you to anyone who took part in the character weeks throughout the months, and to anyone who shared the posts. It meant a lot, and it was fun while it lasted.
