Barry nodded. He gently wrapped an arm around Wanda. “Is it hard to control it?”
“Sometimes. If I’m strong, I’m fine... but after a while it wears me down, and no matter how hard I concentrate, I start to lose control. Eventually... I burn myself out.”
“You don’t know whether you can’t. Powers develope, expand. You need to use your powers or they’ll bottle up and you lose control. Trust me, I can know. And I can assure you, no one here is going to be scared of you because then they’d have to be absolutely frightened of me, considering the things I can do are quite scary as well.” Bobbi turned her hand back to normal and just smiled at the girl before giving her a gentle pat on the shoulder.
“Trust me, I have been here 8 years, I know how it works. You’ll fit in just fine.” This school was a safe haven for young mutants and being surrounded by people with similar issues, similar stories and experiences was exactly what made this place perfect for everyone to develope themselves in a safe way.
“We’ll see how I develop,” she said, smiling a little and looking back at Bobbi. “Thank you for talking to me. I’m... I’m not very good at making friends,” she said with a shy smile. “I usually just... sort of avoid people. You’re very kind. Thank you,” she repeated, looking down at her lap.
“Do you know my brother?” she asked curiously, returning her gaze to Bobbi after a few moments. “Pietro... silver hair. Fast. Big mouth,” she said, a grin spreading across her face.
To be stopped so suddenly was quite the surprise. It had not been hands that steadied her, but it felt familiar. It felt like Nico’s ability, it was filled with magic. Turning around properly, she gave a quick and genuine, ‘Thank you’, quite astounded. But her astonishment only grew as she realised who was stood before her. Molly had been a fan of heroes and heroines for years - since before she was a runaway. They had filled her with hope after going on the run and to see one whom she looked up to was rather incredible.
When the money was held before her, Molly hesitated. She wasn’t sure whether she ought to take it or not. If she took it… Well, it was charity, it was taking money from the Scarlet Witch, it was being in someone’s debt. Molly had ben in others debt before. It was not pleasant. But the offer appeared genuine, and warm. She had not seen so much money in such a long time. It would be foolish to turn it away.
Slowly, she reached out to take it, a dazed expression on her features as she remained uncharacteristically silent for a moment longer. Molly looked over the notes, then said, “Thank you. Really. B-but this is like.. .That’s a lot of money and I’m pretty sure you probably need it and– Thanks. You’re awesome. Really. Like, one of my favourite heroes - though Chase doesn’t think so, I reckon you’re the most badass and–”
The words spilled from the chatty teens mouth, but she cut herself off before she could let her mouth run away too far. “Thank you,” she said again, quite simply. She honestly could not remember when she had held actual notes before.
As it dawned on her that this girl knew exactly who she was, Wanda felt a smile creep across her features. She wasn't scared or wary - and that was something incredibly refreshing. "I don't need it," she promised. "I make enough now that it's alright... I remember being too poor to eat most days," she said simply, offering her a smile. "I mean no offense offering it to you. I just know what it means when shoes fall apart to that extent. Keep it. Take care of yourself. One day when you’re making enough money to spend it on frivolous things, you’ll want to help little girls that remind you of yourself, too.”
Wanda could feel the power coming from the girl... and it was intriguing. This girl had to be a mutant, too. That was the only way she could explain it to herself. “I hope it’s not too intrusive, but your powers are very loud. I can feel them,” she said with a grin. "If you don't mind me asking... what is it that you can do?"
“I suppose you know, but I’m Wanda,” she said as she held her hand out to the girl with a smile. “What’s your name?”
“Exactly “ Logan said with a grin “ Hows your head feeling now “ he said as he walked through the door and towards her bed
“Better. I need to work on being stronger,” she admitted with a small smile. “I know I could do so much more if my body could handle the amount of power I use.”
he didn’t have much of a chance to speak to her before, busy with fighting off the other team at the airport. he didn’t even know her NAME. but that did not stop his eyes from gazing at her and lips to part. “ you okay? ”

“I will be,” Wanda assured him, running her fingers through her hair and tugging harder as she snagged on a tangle. “I just did too much... it wears me out. I’ll be better in a couple of days,” she murmured, tying her hair back as she closed her eyes and relaxed on the couch. “I’m only aware of the vague details of your situation, but... I’m glad for you and the Captain that you’re back with us.”
The only way I’ll accept the hydracap story line to play out is:
Steve’s busy being a nazi when Bucky goes to check on him and bucky’s like “wtf the fuck”
So he’s like “steve no” and steve’s like “steve yes” and Bucky’s like “that’s only funny when you’re a good guy doing reckless things and not a NAZI doing NAZI THINGS” and steve’s like “(ง'̀-‘́)ง” because he’s a dick now
but Bucky can win this
because Bucky’s got a secret weapon
an assassin you know and love who’s unafraid to step in

so they go off and fight the marvel writers (with swords) and then destroy the new issues (with fire) and then they go to see steve and steve hugs them all and he’s crying and thanking them for saving his characterisation

“Maybe that’s why we seem to get along so well,” she said with a small smile. “Crazy people in a room together seem sane.” Wanda gave a small wave and a sliver of red magic held the door open for them as he carried her into the room.
“Not Exactly … but if it happened i would not blame you “ Logan said slipping his arm under her bottom and lower back lifting her up bridal styled “ I got you darlin “
She draped her arms around his neck easily, looking out at the school grounds and sighing as she looked back up at him. “The Professor said you would probably end up being my teacher in the end,” she said, offering a small smile. “I guess he knew you could handle my crazy.”
“You don’t think i know that wanda … hell i welcome it i don’t fear death anymore or being hurt because i have not felt pain in ages “
“You know... you're making me feel like you’d like me to kill you,” she said with a slight smile as she reached up to wipe her tears away. Wanda started to push herself up to her feet only to stumbled and fall back to her knees. “...I guess I need to sit here a while. I’m too dizzy.”
“I think it’s best you stay … maybe you just need a better teacher like me “
“You could die, Logan. I know you think you’re invincible, but... I’ve done things that have completely changed reality. I’m going to hurt you.”
“Relax It’s gonna be okay “ he said walking over to her and hugging her “breath “
Wanda dropped her face against his shoulder and sniffled, trying to calm herself down. “I’ve hurt so many people. I... It’s too dangerous for me to stay at the school.”
steve sat down next to her. it was easier for him to connect this way. he didn’t feel the need to be cap, just steve. “maybe rough training is good for us every now and then.” he raised a brow, looked up from the ground to meet her eyes. “it takes time, to learn how to handle, that kind of power. r e s p o n s i b i l i t y. being an avenger is, one hell of a job, but it’s a job i think you’re more than fit for.”
Wanda shook her head a little. “You should be a motivational speaker. You make almost killing everyone sound like it was just a rough day,” she said with a small smile before sighing and looking back up at him. "...I don't think I can get up," she sighed, rubbing the back of her neck.
“You know, I was here first. You’re the one that came into the room after me, and now? Callin’ me a pig?” He took another puff and purposely blew it at her face, eyes fixed on hers. “You can leave any time you want. No one’s forcing you to stay in the same room as me, Maximoff.”
Again, she conducted the smoke out of her face and sent it back to him instead, raising an eyebrow. "I'm here because I brought you these," she said, dropping a file in front of him and glancing him over. "If you apologize, I'll even bring you some food."
“hey… hey listen to me…. your OK. you wont hurt me… I promise”
"You don't know that... Please, go away before I do something else," she said shakily, pushing herself to her feet and taking in the destruction she'd caused.
“Relax darlin “ Logan as the wound slowly started to close up and heal
"I'm sorry," she said, obviously still distressed. "I didn't mean to, I... I'm sorry, I don't have enough control... If you couldn’t heal you would be dead right now...”
