You hated these formal events. Being forced into an elegant yet uncomfortable outfit and having to be all chummy with random snobby nobles made you want to hurl, especially the overconfident noble men who seemed to not know what personal space was.
Rain Chime
Kaeya x reader

Genre: fluff

a/n: I couldn't think of a good title so uh 🕴
You loved the rain, the sound of the drops of water hitting the concrete or the window a kind of soothing noise. So, when it suddenly started pouring while you were in the comfort of your home in Mondstadt, you felt your mood lift a bit. Sitting next to a window, you began to think about your lover, Kaeya. He was currently doing a commission given to him by the Knights which would take a while, and you began to worry, not wanting him to get drenched and later become sick, especially since it had become very late.
Your worries were answered when you heard the jingle of keys at the door, signaling that Kaeya had returned. Quickly standing, you head to the bathroom to grab a towel, in case he had actually gotten drenched. Returning to the front door, you looked at Kaeya and guessed correctly, as the captain was covered in water, creating a puddle at the door.
"You remind me of a wet dog, Kaeya." The blue haired man shoots you a smirk, taking the towel you handed him. "Is that any way to greet your lover who's cold from the rain?" You roll your eyes, heading to the kitchen to make a warm meal for the both of you while Kaeya heads to the bathroom to take a shower. While making the beef stew, you feel two warm arms circle your waist, and you lean back into Kaeya's chest. He nuzzles his head on your neck, his breath fanning down your neck, giving you a slight shiver.
"Smells good. Ah, the food smells good too." You flush, pushing your elbow against his stomach slightly. He grunts a laugh, giving a peck to your neck before moving to the table to sit. Serving a bowl for Kaeya and yourself, you both eat in a comfortable silence, occasionally talking about your days. Once finished, Kaeya takes your bowl to clean in the sink while you clean up the table. You sit next to the window again, watching the drops of water fall outside.
"Love, come to bed with me won't you?" Turning to Kaeya, you nod slowly, feeling sleepy from the sound of rain. He notices, and gently picks you up into his arms. "Look at you, sleepy baby." He coos at you, and you gently slap his chest, earning a chuckle from him. He carries you to your shared bed, gently setting you down, following you in shortly after. Kaeya brings the covers over the both of you, wrapping his arms around your waist and bringing you closer to him. You embrace him back, not caring if it made you seem clingy as Kaeya was radiating warmth.
"Feeling needy, are we now?" You could hear the smug smirk on his lips, so you countered with giving him a kiss. "Shut up and let me love you, idiot." Kaeya comes down from the slight shock from your boldness with a gentle smile that reaches his eyes. He holds you tighter, closer and kisses the crown of your head. "As you wish." You drift into slumber before he does, and he takes the time to admire your sleeping face. To him, you look like a heavenly being, and he wonders how he got so lucky. Kaeya gives your nose a kiss before following into sleep with a smile on his face, the sound of the rain outside becoming a lullaby to help both of you fall into a deep slumber.

i apologize if he seems ooc, im not the best at writing him yet D:
Xiao knew he needed to cut ties with you before it was too late, he knew that staying near him would cause you to go mad due to his karma, and yet, he couldn't bring himself to actually go through with it. It had been a year since you had walked into his life, and Xiao had already grown attached to you, even if he tried his best to push you away for your own good. By always giving him almond tofu whenever you came by and just talking away even if he rarely responded, Xiao always looked forward to your visits.
You were currently telling the yaksha about the commission you had taken up today, and how time consuming it was. He listened to you ramble while eating the almond tofu you had made for today. He was at peace for once, the voices in his head sparing him a moment of silence while he ate and listened. Finishing up his plate and setting it down, Xiao leaned back on the railing of the balcony, closing his eyes and just listening to your voice. He was calm, breathing in the night air.
"Hey Xiao, do I bother you?" He choked on his own air, his calm demeanor disrupted by your sudden question. He looked at you, but you were looking up at the sky, avoiding his eyes. "What makes you think that?" Xiao takes note of how tense you look, twiddling your thumbs but still refusing to look him in the eye. "Well… whenever I'm here all I do is talk, and you barely respond. I feel like I'm just annoying you." He stared at you with wide eyes. The thought of you being annoying never once crossed his mind, and a strange feeling nagged at his chest.
"No, you don't bother me at all." You finally looked Xiao in the eye, seeing an unreadable emotion swirl in them. He turns away, hoping to cover his face as a slight blush covers his cheeks. "I'm sorry if it felt like you did, it wasn't intentional. I actually like it when you talk about your day…" He trails off towards the end, but you heard it loud and clear. A smile spreads across your face, the doubt disappearing at his words. You stand next to him, now with confidence, and continue to talk about anything and everything.
Xiao feels a tiny smile form on his lips, glad that you have continued talking. He moves closer to you, hoping it wouldn't be noticeable, and moves his left hand near yours. You seemed to not have noticed what he was doing, so he took the opportunity to link his pinkie with yours. You look at him, but he's facing forward, and your smile gets bigger. You hold onto his pinkie a bit tighter, knowing Xiao was trying his best to comfort you, and he relaxes, his smile growing slightly. It's then that Xiao realizes that he doesn't want to let you go, and he prays to the archons to not let him lose you.
As Beautiful as a Glaze Lily
Zhongli x reader
WC: 874
Genre: fluff
Warnings: none
Everyday without fail, Zhongli would give you one glaze lily. Whether he'd just be passing by your home or you're walking around Liyue together listening to his stories, he'd always give you one. You, of course, didn't complain. In fact, you would look forward to the glaze lily you'd be gifted by him. Zhongli would never tell you why though. He'd hand it to you with the softest of smiles, then continue what he was doing as if it had never happened.
Every time you'd ask why he would give you the flower, he'd be quick to avoid or change the topic, as if it burned to even acknowledge it. You respected it, as you didn't want to make the funeral consultant uncomfortable and drive him away from you. It did nothing to quench your curiosity however. You couldn't remember when he had started to give them to you, but it had been a while as you have a vase on your kitchen table always filled to the brim with his glaze lilies.
Today was no different. While running errands for the adventurers guild, you had run into Zhongli on the way back. He stopped you for a small chat before handing you the flower, giving the usual sweet smile, and heading on his way. The only difference, however, was that you felt your face get hot and butterflies going wild in your stomach. You blamed it on feeling hungry and the sun on your face, but the feeling would happen even if Zhongli didn't give you a glaze lily, even just being around the man would raise your nervousness, and it would become difficult to look him in the eye at times.
The nerves and butterflies would get worse everyday, and it was late at night when you realized that you had fallen for Zhongli. You became aware of everything he did, how he would look over Liyue with pride, and how calm he looked when drinking tea. You never acted on your feelings however, you didn't want the relationship you currently had with him to end. Zhongli meant so much to you, and confessing could possibly end the friendship which hurt your heart. What you couldn't tell however, was that the consultant felt the same, but he didn't understand why you couldn't see that, even with the glaze lilies he'd give you everyday. So, Zhongli decided to be straight forward once realizing that the flowers were not enough to open your eyes.
As always, when passing Zhongli on the main street, he'd stop you and give the usual flower, but he had invited you to dinner with him in the evening. You had of course accepted, and once arriving at the comfort of your home, felt nervous and excited. You yelled in your head for the day to go faster, feeling impatient about your dinner with Zhongli. An hour before the time he had said to arrive at the restaurant, you had gotten dressed, wearing something a bit formal. Walking out and heading to Xinyue Kiosk, you catch Zhongli on the way. Trying to calm your nerves, you call out to him, and he gives you the same sweet, dazzling smile. Zhongli offers his arm for you to take, and begins walking with you at his side.
After dinner, Zhongli takes you on a night walk around the city, once again telling you stories about the land. Under the lighting of the lamps in the night, he looked ethereal to you, as if he were a god. Feeling your stare, he looks down at you and smiles softly before stopping. Confused, you look at him, about to ask why the sudden stop before he starts speaking.
"Y/N, we've known each other for quite some time, and I believe it is time I tell you something that has been on my mind for a while." Zhongli takes your hand in his, and you look into his eyes, seeing his orbs of amber and gold become filled with an emotion you couldn't pinpoint. "What is it?" He smiles and continues. "Everyday, I do my best to pick out the most beautiful glaze lily I can find and give it to you, hoping that I could gain your trust and even your affection. However, it seems that the flowers weren't enough. So, I invited you over for dinner today to come clean." He let go of your hands and instead held your face with a touch so gentle, it was as if you were porcelain. You couldn't believe the words leaving his mouth.
"Y/N, I love you. I adore you. Believe me when I tell you this. However, I understand if you do not return my feelings, I will not hold it against-" You cut him off by placing your lips on his, giving him a small peck before pulling away with a smile. "Don't worry Zhongli, I accept you." His smile grows wider, and he takes your hand again to kiss your knuckles before intertwining your hands together. "Thank you, my love. You are more beautiful than any glaze lily I have ever gifted you."
With your hands intertwined and hearts as one, you continue walking through Liyue with your lover.

Mornings with Childe can be completely random, from him already being awake and making breakfast for the both of you to him already having left your shared home for his Fatui work. Rarely would you ever wake up before he did, but if that chance comes, you relish the moment as much as you can because you knew a moment like that would take a long while before you could experience it again.
This morning was one of the lucky ones, where you had awoken before he did. The sun had the audacity to shine directly on your eyes, causing you to stir in your sleep to try and block it. The sun however had other ideas and did not relent, so you opened your eyes and decided it was time to get up. Sitting up and stretching, you were about to hop out of bed until your hand hit something hard and you heard a soft grunt.
Snapping your head to the side, you see a nest of ginger hair poking up from the bedsheets. Childe was laying next to you seemingly asleep and your hand had landed on his torso quite hard. Realizing that you had woken up before him, you decide to make the best of the moment. You lay back down on your stomach, trying to be as quiet as possible to not wake the harbinger up. You take in his relaxed face, and smile when you notice the slight freckles on his cheeks. His chest rises and falls slowly as he sleeps, his bedhead and absolute mess, yet you couldn’t deny how cute he looked.
Childe looked at peace, calm from his usual excited-to-kill face. Noticing that the sun had gotten higher, you decided it was time to wake him up. Running a hand through his messy hair, you kiss all over his face, making sure to not kiss him directly on his lips. Childe makes a noise of content, and you briefly pause your kiss assault on his face. His eyes open, pools of azure looking up at you. “Morning love….” His voice is husky and full of sleep as he looks at you with eyes full of love and adoration. You hum, lowering yourself to finally give his lips a soft peck.
“Morning sleepy head, it’s time to get up.” Running your hand through his hair one last time, you attempt to get up, but strong arms circle your waist and drag you back down onto the bed. “Five more minutes…” Childe nuzzles his head on your chest, hoping to convince you to stay. You know that five minutes can turn into two hours, so you gently remove his arms and get up before he can catch you. Making your way to the kitchen, you hear a whine of protest behind you. Rolling your eyes, you start making breakfast for the both of you, taking out everything you need.
While in the middle of cooking, you feel arms circle your waist and a head on your shoulder, signaling that Childe had finally gotten up. You smile and pat his head, and he turns you around to face him, placing his forehead on yours as he looks into your eyes again. “Have I ever told you how much I love you?” You giggle and kiss his nose. “Yes, you tell me everyday.” He grins and kisses your nose back. “Good.” Childe pulls you in for a sweet kiss, one where you smile into it.
You pull away to tend to your breakfast before it starts to burn, and Childe returns to embracing you, even swaying you both a bit. You turn your head to kiss his head, and you feel his smile on your shoulder. "I love you too, Ajax."

Albedo x Reader
WC: 665
Genre: fluff
Warnings: none
When Albedo had asked you to fight with the strange purple sword to study it, you had expected him to come with you to study from afar. Instead, he stayed in his makeshift lab in a small cave and just waited for you to come back with results. You were confused, how would he study the sword without seeing how it was handled during combat? Then again, it was Albedo, one of- if not- the smartest people in Mondstadt, maybe even Teyvat. He most likely could just tell. However, he was so focused on the sword and it's constantly changing details that he didn't notice how drained and exhausted you looked from running errands for him and the sword.
It was currently late in the evening, and you were still in Dragonspine running errands about the sword for Albedo. However, the exhaustion from doing the same thing for the past few days had been starting to catch up to you. Luckily however, you had just finished the last errand for the day and were currently en route back to Albedo’s temporary lab.
Freezing your ass off, you arrive at the lab and immediately stand next to the nearest fire to warm up your frozen bones. Albedo was busy with another project and hadn't noticed you arrived. Now slightly cold, you head over to him.
"Albedo?" Upon hearing your voice, Albedo gives you a nod to acknowledge he was listening. "I've finished what you needed me to do today." Pausing what he was doing, Albedo turns to you and asks if anything has changed with the sword. "Nothing has really changed, it's just slightly more powerful now." Giving another nod, the alchemist observes the sword. "Hmm… it's unfortunate that nothing has really changed, however, it's better than no change at all."
Taking the sword back, you notice that you had gotten cold again and are shivering slightly. Albedo takes notice of your slight trembling. "Are you cold? Here, take my coat." He shrugs it off and hands it to you. "Oh, no it's okay, you're going to get cold too." Instead of putting it back on, Albedo swings his coat behind you and sets it on your shoulders. "It's fine. I'm used to the cold of this area. Besides, you look tired, go take a rest near that fire. I still have some things to do before we can head back." With a burning face, you nod and sit on a crate by a fire, hugging Albedo's coat closer to your body. It smelled of a bit of chemicals, a bit of smoke, and his own scent, causing you to get drowsy. Leaning against the wall, you decide taking a small nap wouldn't be so bad.
Turns out your "small nap" had been longer than you intended, as when you awoke it was dark outside, and you noticed that you were in a bed at the Knights of Favonius headquarters. Rubbing away the sleep from your eyes and sitting up, you hear footsteps nearing you. "I didn't think you were that tired Y/N." Looking towards Albedo, you pieced together what happened and felt your cheeks get warm. "Did you carry me here? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to sleep for so long-" Albedo cuts you off with a hand on your head, giving a few pats. "Don't apologize. It's the least I could do for making you work to exhaustion, I should be the one apologizing." Deciding not to argue with him as you were still tired and just nodded.
"I'll be back in a moment, I need to make some notes and send a report to Jean." Albedo leans down and kisses the crown of your head, then heads out. You were dazed from the small act of affection, and had noticed that you were still wearing his coat. Hugging it closer, you smiled and would return it to him later, for your head was full of the alchemist who had your heart.

You knew that falling for a hardcore otaku demon would be a bad idea, and yet, your heart didn't listen. Leviathan was someone you never expected to come into your life and invade your thoughts every waking moment of the day, sometimes even in your dreams. No matter how hard you tried to make your brain become occupied with something else-work, food, sleep, anything else-it always went back to him. Even when being in the human realm, you would wonder if he was doing alright, if he was eating and sleeping properly.
To everyone else, they thought Leviathan was ugly or gross, seeing as he would sometimes go weeks without bathing. To you, he was adorable. Whenever you'd force him to shower and he'd whine about possibly missing the newest anime premiere, you'd think he looked so cute, staring at you with those sad eyes of his, trying to convince you to let him stay and watch. Whenever Leviathan would go on a spree of playing games and not leave his chair for anything, you always brought him snacks and some water, telling him to take a break every now and then to hydrate and eat.
Even with how insecure and tsundere like he was, you fell for him, because to you, he was perfect. However, that didn't mean you told him right away. You'd always give some stupid excuse to not confess, when in reality you were scared beyond words. In your mind, confessing to Leviathan was the same as going into a boss fight severely underleveled. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't get yourself together and just….say it. Which is where you are now. Planning out how you were going to confess to Leviathan.
"Hmm….maybe through Minecraft- no that's not gonna work too well….". You had been at it again, trying to plan out how you were going to confess to Levi without making a fool of yourself. Pacing back and forth in your room, plotting some stupid plan. Being so caught up in your head, the notification ring from your D.D.D scared you, and you went to see what or who it was, secretly hoping it was Leviathan asking to hang out. Your silent hopes were crushed when you saw it was Satan asking you to head to his room. Heading over, you pass Mammon and Asmodeus in the hall, both rambling about money or skin care or something. Once at Satan's room, you ask what he needed you for.
"I'm tired of seeing you and Levi go back and forth with each other." You blinked. "What do you mean?" Satan puts his book down and looks at you. "I mean the fact that you both have feelings for each other, it's pretty obvious." Feeling heat rising up your neck, you immediately start denying your feelings towards Levi. However, Satan wasn't having any of it. "Listen, just go confess to him. The worst that could happen is that he'll faint from being too flustered." You couldn't go against what he was saying, as you knew it was true. And yet, the fear that ran through your body was unstoppable. As if reading your mind, Satan puts a hand on your shoulder. "I promise you, nothing will go wrong. But if he does pass out, you owe me a book of my choice." You smacked his head.
It had been an hour since then, and you had been standing in front of Leviathan's door for a good minute trying to calm yourself down. You could hear the noise coming from his computer and the rapid clicks of his mouse, most likely playing a game. Smacking your cheeks a few times, you sucked it up and knocked on his door. "Levi…?" No answer. Maybe he had his headphones on? You tried again, louder this time, and it sounded like he finally noticed as you heard a small crash of something falling onto the floor. "W-who is it?!" You noticed how startled his voice sounded. "It's just me…" The door immediately swings open, and you almost stumble from the fright it gave you. Looking up at Leviathan with wide eyes, he stares back down at you with red cheeks. "What're you doing here? It's almost 11 pm." Had it really been that late? "Oh, I'm sorry, should I go then? I didn't check the time and thought it was earli-'' You couldn't finish your sentence as he had dragged you into his room and shut the door, effectively startling you once again. "No, no, don't go! B-but don't take this the wrong way!" How cute. You noted that his game was paused, and that what fell onto the floor was a controller of his. Most of the lights were off, the only light in the room coming from the massive fish tank, covering everything in a blue glow. "Did something happen? Why are you here?" Remembering your reasoning, you feel the nervousness and heat running through your body again. This was it. Whatever happens, happens. "I actually need to tell you something." Standing in front of him, you look into his eyes for the first time. Under the blue lighting, Leviathan looked ethereal, almost as if he never fell from heaven. The blue lighting fit him perfectly, and all you could do was admire him. You completely forgot about everything, and Leviathan was growing restless and flustered with your staring. Covering his face with his hand, he looks away.
"Leviathan, I love you." A moment of silence passed before you realized what just transpired. Eyes widening in shock, you smack your hand over your mouth. You did it. You finally confessed. You refused to look at him, scared at what expression he was making. "Why?" All emotions left you, and you looked at him in disbelief. "I'm a yucky otaku, I don't shower for weeks at times. Why me? I'm not worth it." You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Leviathan thought he wasn't worthy of love. Bullshit. Marching right up to him, you grab his face between your hands and force him to look into your eyes. "Levi, you're absolutely worth it, no matter what you think. You're such an amazing demon, you care about your brothers, you just have your own way of doing it. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. It's okay to not shower for a while, as long as you're happy and comfortable, that's all that matters. I fell for you, all of you." You smiled at him, and he couldn't take it anymore. Levi crushed you in a hug, trembling slightly, trying to hide his crying face in the crook of your neck. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, using one hand to pet his hair to comfort him. Moving you both to his bathtub bed, you try your best to lay down with him, although it took a while to get comfortable in such a small space as Levi was huge. You didn't know how long it was until he calmed down, but you didn't mind. He moves his head from your neck and looks up at you, eyes bloodshot and puffy. You smile at him, and kiss his forehead, pulling him closer to you. "Go to sleep, it's late." He nods, nuzzling his face to your neck again. Before he drifts off, he gives his answer. "I love you too…" Your smile grows wider, and soon, you follow after him.
--------
Bonus:
"He didn't faint." You look at Satan with a smug look, and he sighs. "Well, that's fine." Then, he smirks. "So, about that mark on your neck…" You smack him. He laughs.

You always thought those unrequited love diseases were just to scare those with high expectations, keeping them grounded from making strange fantasies about love in their heads. You learned the hard way that they are real, not just works of fiction. You were glad it wasn't hanahaki, and yet, it still hurts just as much as you knew the truth of your one sided love. But no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't stop loving him, even if you knew the outcome.
It was past midnight, and you were still awake. How could you sleep knowing you had fallen for someone who didn't love you back? At first, you had given yourself small pep talks, saying that he did have feelings for you, as he acted more freely around you than the rest of class 1A. That was when it started. You had seen Todoroki and Ochaco talking and you thought nothing of it, that was until you saw how he spoke to him. He seemed free, and was happy. It was just as if he was talking to you. You felt your heart shatter a bit, and there was a lump in your throat, signaling tears on their way. Quickly hurrying to your dorm room, you lock the door just in time before the first few tears fall.
That was 2 hours ago, and yet here you still are, on your bed holding back more tears. After the first few fell, you tried your damn hardest to hold the rest back, but you don't know how much longer you can. You kept repeating in your head that you could've seen it wrong, that they're just friends, that you weren't special and anyone could make him that happy, not just you. And yet, you couldn't help but feel sad. You had gotten your hopes up, and now were facing the consequences. The more you thought about it, the worse you felt, until you couldn't hold back your tears anymore. One by one they fell, silent sobs leaving your throat. You tried again to stop them, closing your eyes to rub against them. Opening them, you came upon a strange sight. Your tears were glowing, reminding you of the stars just outside your window. You stood from your bed, your tears falling to the floor, making a sort of glass breaking noise once hitting the ground.
You were terrified. Your tears had slowed down a bit in the midst of your panic to grab your computer to try and figure out why your tears were glowing. Clicking on a reliable source, you started reading.
"The star tear illness is similar to the hanahaki disease. The illness born from subjects of unrequited love in which the patient starts to cry coloured tears similar to stars; hence the name. Along with the coloured tears, often there is a crystalline sound or similar noises when a tear shatters on a solid plan. The disease affects the victims eyes, making them turn color blind and, in rare cases, make the victim lose sight. The illness would disappear if the victim got their feelings required romantically and not in the matter of friendship. Although the damage already done won't disappear."
……shit.
You had been crying everyday since then. You would continue to see Todoroki with someone else looking as happy as he could be, and you couldn't help but feel crushed by it. He had noticed that you had become distant recently, but you would brush it off, pining it on you being tired, and he believed it. Every time. And so, you would cry daily, your tears being a bright blue color and shattering like glass once hitting the ground. It had been about 2 weeks when you finally started feeling the effects of the illness, or more like seeing the effects. Your vision was becoming dull, as if the colors were slowly being drained away. It was becoming blurry, meshed together. Todoroki noticed how differently you were acting, and decided to confront you about it.
"Y/N. Is everything alright, you seem constantly on edge." You couldn't tell him, he'd try everything to stop the illness, not knowing he's the reason why you have it in the first place. "Don't worry about me Todoroki, I'm just tired from studying." Sheepishly looking away, you try to walk away from him, however, he catches your wrist before you can leave. "Are you sure? You can talk to me about anything…" You felt tears coming up, so you made up some lame excuse to leave and ran, Todoroki watching you run off with a worried expression on his face.
It had become your mission to avoid Todoroki as much as you could, you felt horrible for doing it, but every glance at him made you feel like bawling. It didn't help that your vision had been getting worse by the day. You had begun to bump into small things, and telling the difference between colors was becoming more and more difficult. You didn't know how much longer you could see until you couldn't anymore. Todoroki had a small suspicion that you were avoiding him, so he did everything he could to give you space, but he couldn't help but be worried whenever he saw you bump into something or when you couldn't distinguish between colors. You had never been like that before, so why were you having vision problems? He couldn't take it anymore, he had to talk to you.
It was night, and you were finally having a crying free night. You were playing Genshin Impact (play it, shit is fun asf) when you heard a soft knock at your door. Confused, you make your way to open it, and regret that decision once you see who was on the other side. "Hey, may I talk to you?" Todoroki was in his, what you assumed, pajamas. You knew this was it, you couldn't run away from him anymore. "Um…sure." Moving to the side, you gesture him in, and he stands in the middle of your room. "What did you want to talk about?"
He faces you, eyes holding an emotion you couldn't quite place. "What's wrong? Why are you avoiding me? Is everything alright?" Ah, of course, those questions. You turn away from him, trying to hide your sadness. "I'm sorry Todoroki, I've just been busy and tired, I didn't mean to avoid you. I'm alright though, don't worry." Giving a forced smile, you hope he drops it. However, he's more stubborn than you remember.
"You're lying, I can see it." He stands directly in front of you and puts his hand under your chin, forcing you to look him in the eyes. Your resolve is slowly breaking, and you want to just spill everything to him...but you don't. "Todoroki, I'm fine...just tired and stressed, I promise." He doesn't believe you, but he complies, not wanting to force you to do something you don't want. "I'm here for you Y/N, okay? I'm your friend, it's okay to talk to me." You didn't trust your voice, so you nodded. The second he left and closed the door, you fell to your knees. The tears had come back at full force, and it felt as though you were crying out glass. But you couldn't stop them. Deciding to try to sleep tonight, you open your eyes. Or, you thought you did.
'Why is it dark?' You couldn't tell if your eyes we're open or not. Reaching up to touch them, they are indeed open, which could only mean that it was too late.
The illness had finished its job.
