Reader x Mobius requests?Â
Mobius x Reader (feat. Jealous!Mobius!)Â
First and foremost...you couldnât believe Renslayer allowed it. You were aware of how fond Renslayer was of Mobius, so it shouldnât be too surprising. It may make you feel certain emotions you have to fight down because it wasnât fitting of a TVA agent and far more of what you see in Variants.Â
Second, you didnât think it would go well. On one hand, you could see the logic after Mobius explained it a few times. But you still thought it too risky. Any given Loki was dangerous when facing in the field. Bringing the God of Mischief in a place whose sole purpose was to maintain order? That was asking for trouble.Â
You spent plenty of hours trying to fathom all the reasons Renslayer gave to Mobius about why she wanted and should refuse his request. But more so trying to figure out the argument Mobius used to win.Â
Seeing them in action...you kind of got it.Â
Or at least became even more curious about this Variant. The amount of faith Mobius had in him made you worry. If anything went too wrong, what would happen to Mobius should the Time Keepers be too upset or become unamused by Lokiâs mischief?Â
Which is why and how you latched on to their cases. To help keep Mobius anchored before he sunk with that Lokiâs troubles.Â
Except...the Loki Variant was almost pleasant. Yes, he was everything his file said he was, but there was more to him as well. The less relevant facts that donât make it onto the reports. The way his mind works is fascinating and you begin to see how and why Mobius managed it!Â
Both you and Loki understand that Mobius is in charge. Loki also understands that you have more rank than him. So rather and always go to Mobius with an idea or theory, he begins to come to you first. Maybe heâs hoping youâre a little easier to manipulate, which you donât put past him. But youâre very adamant that if it requires going anywhere or trying anything, youâll be reporting to at least Mobius or Hunter B-15. He complies.Â
Loki asks you questions. You answer in turn for stories about Asgard. Sure, you know of it, youâve even visited a few times. But it was for a case and like many other places, it just blends in with the rest of the time line. You never really admired itâs beauty until you get lost in the stories Loki would tell about his childhood there. The moments that didnât make it into the reel. Moments that mattered or impacted him in ways that the Time Keepers didnât really care about.Â
You begin to stick up for Loki more. Itâs no longer just Mobius nearly pleading for everyone else to humor him. You do see the scared little boy Mobius did and you feel protective now. It still surprises you how much faith you have in Loki now, and you would love to bond about it with Mobius...if he wasnât suddenly acting weird.Â
It starts off small. With little comments you brush off at first. But it quickly escalates to him ditching you and not telling you about attempts to get the Variants killing the Minute Men.Â
You could wait and see if itâll fix itself...or you could confront Mobius.Â
There really wasnât much of a choice.
---
âWhatâs got your TimePad in a fritz?â You asked, crossing your arms and taking your stance. âI donât know what yo-â Mobius begins, trying to deny anything being the matter. Youâre not sure if it was the look in your eye or whateverâs been eating him up winning after all. Rather than deny anything, he himself takes a stand and crosses his arms too. âYouâve never told me about (Insert you Jet Ski Equivalent Here ) before.â âWell...you never asked.â You reply with a small shrug. Thereâs a pause as you get lost for a moment, as if you had a thought on the tip of your tongue, but it flees just before you can recognize it. That feeling has been more present lately. Absentmindedly you add, âAnd Iâve never really given it much thought...â
âUntil Loki?â You nod, âHe asks questions.âÂ
âI ask questions.â He commented.Â
âYou do. Itâs how you got to your ranking, Iâm sure. But itâs always been about the job...which is...what there is. Whatâs the point of me bringing up my interests in a moment on the timeline I canât be a part of other than admiring it from far away?â You inquire.Â
âThe point is...you told Loki before telling me!âÂ
âDonât you like Loki?â You asked with a raised, confused eyebrow.
âDo you like him?â He counters.
âI asked first.âÂ
âI ask..â He pauses to think of something to answer with, âwith authority!âÂ
You scoff and roll your eyes, not completely believing youâre even having this conversation. Youâre about to rebuttal, until it hits you. You pause and eye Mobius up and down before asking, âAre you jealous?â
His scoff came out with a fake laugh as he tried to play it off. You werenât buying it anymore though, as all the moments of him behaving weirdly in the past couple of days now began to make more sense.Â
âI...am just...worried!âÂ
âWorried?â You echo.Â
âYes! That Loki...has...manipulated you. Got into your head. Thatâs all.â He tries so hard to be nonchalant about it.Â
âHe hasnât,â You assure him. You see his shoulders relax, and if he had been a bit more mature about this, maybe you wouldnât have said your next line. But you did anyway, âI just let him into my bed.âÂ
As Mobius sputtered and struggled to get a response, you try to decide what happens next.Â
You decide to put him out of his misery, and perhaps stop Loki from getting pruned, by saying, âIâm kidding! I doubt he could keep his mouth shut about it and Iâd never live down B-15 or Renslayerâs look of âyou could do so much betterâ.â
That seemed to quell him, if only slightly. He tries to readjust his tie but youâre sure Loki had already done so earlier in the morning. He asks, âHow about you and I get together off of duty? Talk about Jet skis and (Insert Your Jet Ski Equivalent)?âÂ
âSo you could manipulate yourself into my bed?â You ask with a playful smirk.Â
He doesnât deny it, instead he matches your smirk and says, âIâd rather call it wooing.â Â
âWooing?â You repeat, but smiling at him nonetheless.
âYeah...unless you wanna invite Loki.â He chimes in childishly.Â
âLet me see if your wooingâs any good before we get adventurous. You can ask him for tips if our first date is a complete disaster.âÂ
âDate? Like a date-date?â
âMake me regret it and Iâll shamelessly flirt with him the next mission.â You âthreatenâ.Â
âHis ego doesnât need the boost and mine doesnât need the hit.â
âThere you two are! Enough love bird chitchat, Iâve got a new idea!â Loki declared as he found them.Â

Loki (Disney+) Episode 4 inspired
With a show dealing with time travel, I know they say time passes by differently. (And honestly, Iâve been spoiled by full seasons dropping on Netflix and also becoming so behind on all the shows I start that when I try to catch up again itâs a lot there for me to indulge in. So this whole, waiting a whole ass week for a new ep is....itâs something.)
But like...Loki falling in love so fast. I just have a lot of feelings about it.Â
-someone who felt unloved most of his life that he craves it so badly. -though he might even be in somewhat denial himself, he seeks for it(but experiences reminds him that itâs not real or it wonât last) -Him having some sort of feelings for Sylvie(however you want to interpret that), itâs heart breaking that the most heâs probably felt free to love someone is another version of himself. Itâs not so much narcissism as it is there being this safety net. He doesnât have to explain himself. He doesnât have to say words that have probably come back in bit him in the ass before. If he gets hurt, itâll hurt less because it was in her nature as it is his nature.Â
Loki just wanting to love and be loved, having a glimpse of hope, and then it quickly being taken away....
Feels. It just gets me in my feels...Â
Mobius x Reader
You've been worried. Probably more than you should be allowed. Definitely more than you would ever say out loud.
When the alarms blazed loudly, you did your part. You did your duty. But when there was a lull as the Nexus event you were sent to was taken care of, your first thought was of him.
You knew that the variant Mobius was in charge of, very invested in, and believed too much in for Renslayer's taste was more than involved. You could only imagine the trouble Mobius will be in and feel bad for him.
When you eventually checked up with him he was angry. Not seething, but that anger that comes with a severe disappointment that made your heart ache.
He felt responsible, and nothing you could say would change that.
Even when the variants were found and arrested, when you found him after he wasn't any happier.
Mobius wanted to have faith. For a moment, he had it for that variant.
It was confusing, you silently admit to yourself. The concept of faith. You, Mobius, and everyone at the TVA knew everything faith was meant to comfort about the unknown. You knew who created you, and why. You knew your purpose. You knew how it would eventually end. There wasn't any fear or worry. Just acceptance. Peaceful acceptance.
You were all the keepers of all that was, that is, and that will be.
A good story, you remind yourself.
.
.
You find him again in the depths of the archives looking troubled.
"Mobius?"
He startles, pocketing his time tad before putting on a smile as he sees you. "Hey..."
"Stupid question... are you alright?" You ask.
He hesitates. But the look in his eyes isn't the one he usually has after getting lecture by Renslayer. It was... different. The emotion in his eyes wasn't one you were used to seeing in him, or other agents. Maybe only in variants.
His smile becomes less strained and more genuine, "I will be." He paused a moment before he adds, "I am. Promise."
"I'm sorry. I knew you had higher hopes in your variant. But don't beat yourself up... we got them. Both. And... he's a trickster. His tricks were good, but you got him in the end. "
"Yeah... the end." He muttered, more to himself. But you heard it, and it sounded more bitter than you've ever heard him. Before you could think of something else to say to cheer him up, he looks back up at you and asks, "If you could go anywhere, any time... where would you go?"
You tilt your head in slight confusion. With a small smile you remind him, "I can go anywhere. Any time. We all can. "
"Yes. Yeah, but for a case. To prune a branch that shouldn't exist. But..." He pauses, looking almost desperate. Almost scared in a way.
"Mobius?" You call out to him.
"If you could go anywhere you wanted... freely, and because it's what you wanted, where would you go?"
"I...I don't know. I've never thought about it. It's not important to the Sacred Timeline."
"Sacred Timeline..." He scoffs and your concern grows. He shakes his head before looking at you with determination, "I need your help. This is going to sound insane, terrifying, and... go against a lot but deep down it'll feel like something we may be repressing!"
"... what's that?"
"The truth."
"The truth?" You echo.
"Yes! About... everything! About me, about you, about everyone here! But I need help. And Loki. Will you help me?"
You stare at him for a moment. In your mind you know you should report this. Mobius might be in need of medical help at best, you're about to agree to something dangerous and illegal at worst. Yet, the word 'truth' ... it did resonate with you, and more so with that scared clarity you see in his eyes .
You nod, "Whatever you need. I'm in. "
Mobius x Reader
âHow attached are you to your name?âÂ
As tired as Mobius looked, he was as sharp as ever as he replied with, âIf this is a proposal, Iâm gonna have to see the ring first.âÂ
âYou ruined my joke. I was going to call you Sisyphus in a very clever and refined way.âÂ
Mobius sighed as he rubbed his eyes and offered an apologetic smile. âIâm sorry. Go ahead. Make your pun.â
âI said joke. And itâs too late now.â You tell him as you sit across from him.Â
When he catches you trying to peek at his case file, he covers it up. âYou prefer puns and you know it. Would you feel better telling me why you think Iâve taken up an impossible task?â
âNot really. I can only imagine Renslayerâs given you more than even your fair share of lectures.âÂ
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?âÂ
âThat youâre a favorite and you get away with a lot more than the rest of us.â You pout slightly.Â
âJealous?â
âYouâll never get me to say it out loud.â
Thereâs a small silence between you two before Mobius smiled that small smile thatâs reserved more for small moments like this. âI appreciate your worry, I do, but I can handle this variant of Loki.â
âI know you can.â You tell him without hesitation. It is something you believe wholeheartedly. If anyone could, it was Mobius.Â
âGood. So no more worrying.â
âItâs not him Iâm worried about, as much as your hubris,â You tell him.Â
He chuckled but didnât disagree. Standing and grabbing his file, he tells you, âWeâll discuss my hubris and your sense of humor over drinks. Yeah?â
âIâll bring asperin, not sure what will cause the headache. The Variantâs monologues or Renslayerâs lectures.â Â
âItâs quite the coin toss,â Mobius agrees with a short sigh, before giving you a small smile and a wink and heading off.Â
Loki & Reader(Child of Loki Variant)
Loki held his breath, but when he saw that the TVA agents werenât looking directly at him, he let it out. He had felt like he passed through some sort of wardings, but he wasnât sure of them. He stepped closer, inches away from a pissed off agent making a call to others that they lose visual.Â
When the agent made a move to step forward they then paused. They looked a bit confused before turning away and heading off in the opposite direction.Â
âWhat the-â
âThe wards discourage them from wanting to come this way. They canât see nor hear us on this side.âÂ
Loki jumps as he turned towards the voice, preparing his magic for an attack before stilling. Before him was...a child. Well, more like a teenager.Â
âRight. Well, thatâs...â Loki frowned deeply. His time at the TVA was relatively short, but with how much trouble he was going through to prove himself worthy for a simple meeting with the Time Keepers, how was this child able to go undetected? âOther than the TVA, itâs rather calm out there.âÂ
The teen nodded. âI like being the only source of chaos in a fifty mile radius at least, if I can help it. Easier to keep control.âÂ
âBit of an oxymoron, donât you think?âÂ
âSays the God of Mischief wearing the TVA jacket.â the teen deadpanned.Â
âTouchĂ©.â Then he paused before he asked, âYou know who I am?âÂ
The teen seemed to debate on whether to answer or not. At first, it seemed like they chose to not answer. Instead they began to gather their belongings. Physically but also magically. They didnât have much to pack and were finished rather quick. When their hands began to glow green, Loki panicked and reached for their wrist.Â
Lokiâs fear was that the wards would be taken down, and the TVA would be on him again before he had a plan. Or a speech that Mobius would buy.Â
But the fear he caught in the teenâs eye caused him to let go. He held his hands up in a placating manner, âWhoa. I...I donât mean harm. I just donât want the wards to go down.âÂ
â...theyâll go down when Iâm out of this dimension.â the teen said. They eyed Loki warily and with a slight perplexed expression. âIn theory, it shouldnât go down at all. They may stay up until you leave.âÂ
âGood. Thatâs good. But how come the TVA canât see through them?â Loki asked curiously. If he could learn to hide himself from the power the likes of the TVA, he was going to!Â
âTheyâre specially crafted to recognize a particular line of magic...â
âAsgardians?â Loki guessed. The only place heâs seen magic that powerful.Â
The teen rolled their eyes in a vaguely familiar way. âYou still havenât caught on?âÂ
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?âÂ
The teen sighed, âMischief.â
Lokiâs eyes widened, â...youâre another variant?â
âMaybe. But also not what youâre thinking. Iâm not you...â
âBut you have my magical signatu-â Loki began, at first confused still before it clicked. His eyes widened. The teenâs awkward shrug and nod only left him breathless. Sure, there was always talk as he grew up in Asgard court about how his eventual marriage would require him to sire an heir. But it seemed so far away. More so recently with all the chaos with Thanos and the Infinity Stones. But...he was just one Loki. One of apparently many. One of them siring children shouldnât be too far off...yet it was so odd!Â
The fear he saw in the otherâs eyes when he reached for their wrist came back to his mind. It was a lot to process. He pushed it aside for later, thinking more on the present and near future.Â
âJoin me!â He blurted out. Much like with his female counterpart, he would have said his next part of the plan, except he stalled. His plan kept being poked at by various other people that he wasnât as confident as he once was about it. The teen looked ready to vanish. If other Lokiâs could have powers he hasnât even thought about dabbling in, god knew what a variantâs child knew!Â
But he didnât want them vanishing! In a panic he was reminded of how alone he was. In a blink heâd lost everything. His mother, his brother, his home and all the others he once knew. This person in front of him wasnât his yet possibly the closest thing he could call family. Â
âCome with me...â He rephrased. Quieter and gentler this time.Â
Eric Russo x Reader
âHey Jersey,â You smile as Eric looks flustered and like a deer caught in headlights.Â
You were at your regular coffee shop on your way home. The little nook in the wall you like to hide away in for at least an hour to unwind with some coffee and pastry. Either by reading a chapter or so of the book youâre reading or just scrolling mindlessly through your phone to catch up on your social medias.Â
It was in that cafe that you met Eric. You talked and got to know each other when the days were busy and the lines were long. He told you about Jersey, about transferring after visiting his uncle who youâve seen on TV or heard of at least once a week with that task force he works on.Â
There was a friendship between the two of you...but maybe a bit more. You hoped so anyway. Eric was adorably dorky, but also very easy on the eyes. There was also a bit of city street danger that was an added layer of attraction you tried to deny, but canât at this point.Â
You were interested.Â
Youâre sure Eric was too, but he was unsure. So youâd make the first move.Â
âH-hey. Uh, I wasnât staring. I mean I was, but it wasnât because I didnât want to but I mean I did cos...well...Iâm rambling. Why am I rambling?âÂ
âNo idea. I thought we were kind of past that and awkward small talk.âÂ
âWe are! We so are! I just...see thing is...I um...â
âThereâs a new Italian restaurant opening up. Apparently itâs got the Olive Garden manager up in arms. I was thinking of checking it out, and wouldnât mind going with an authentic Italian Stallion going with me to see if itâs legit or not.â You werenât sure where this confidence was coming from, but at this point you had to commit. Thankfully, by the look of Ericâs face, it had been worth it.Â
âYou think Iâm a stallion?â He asked, smiling proudly with a bright blush on his face that youâre sure has nothing to do with the heat. He quickly nods, remembering he was asked to go and says, âIâd love to! Iâll pick you up.âÂ
You grab a pen from the counter as well as one of the business cards to write down your address before you hand it to him. âFriday. 7PM.â
âAwsome! Iâll uh...Iâll see you then?âÂ
âOr you could also have some coffee with me?â
âCoffee first. Thatâs very classy. Yeah...Iâll go order. Usual?â He asks, already knowing how you like your coffee.Â
Which was as good a start to a relationship as any other factor. Â
Loki x Reader
âDoes Mobius know youâre off of your leash?â You asked teasingly as you turn your attention back to your reports.Â
âThat.â Loki said with emphasis as he noisily pulled the chair across from you and took a seat.Â
You look back up at him and see a glint in his eyes that could only be called âmischiefâ. You knew it should annoy you. Or at least be more than prepared to shut down any schemes or funny business. Yet...thereâs a spike of hope! Before that feeling could develop into a thought, you shake your head and asked, âWhat?âÂ
âGranted, I havenât been here too long...or maybe I have. Timeâs weird here.â Loki commented, more so to himself.Â
âYou donât say,â You replied dryly and once more try to get back to your report.Â
Loki doesnât allow that as he reaches over and pulls the report towards him.Â
âHey!â
âLike I said, havenât been here as long as the rest of you but Iâve picked up on everyoneâs sort of work place attitude. Itâs all mostly the same...all but you. Mobius too maybe, but you. Youâre not like them. Thereâs something about you. I wasnât sure what it was at first. Naturally, I thought it was just curiosity or that thirst for knowledge that some scholars might have. But no, that didnât quite fit. It was very familiar, however.âÂ
âYou really do love hearing yourself speak, donât you?âÂ
âRebellion.âÂ
The word made you pause. Though it was just a word and youâve done nothing to warrant the distrust of any of your supervisors, you felt the hairs on the back of your neck stick on end. A wave of paranoia and adrenaline rush through you.Â
Before you could shake it off and retort, Lokiâs talking again.Â
âItâs subtle. Careful. Maybe itâs just your nature while knowing how comfortable you got it. Maybe itâs being forced into submission.â
âWhatâs the point of you telling me all of this?âÂ
âBecause rebellion and mischief make the best of friends...maybe even more.â He answers before smirking, âAnd youâre curious to find out, arenât you?âÂ
You donât answer.Â
Which is an answer in of itself.Â
âI should get going. But...Iâll see you soon. Very soon.â Loki promised.Â
A tingle of something you canât describe rushes through you thatâs like adrenaline...but different. And you find yourself hoping that âvery soonâ is soon indeed. Â
