Howdy!
Setting up this blog to share rad games with venezuelan taste!
So far we only have one game out, Abyss Gunslinger, more in the following posts.
This is Abyss Gunslinger, a free game inspired by asteriods. Made mostly as a learning experience over a year ago (Using Game Maker Studio 1)
How many eldritch souls can you gather in your stroll in the Abyss, before losing your humanity?
Check it out here!
In Star Wars they don’t say ‘I love you’ they say ‘You come from nothing. You’re nothing. But not to me.’ And I think that’s beautiful.

why are moms so afraid of Doom turning their kids into devil-worshippers. like, Doom has a pretty strong anti-demon message to it
One of the devs of the original 1993 game is a mormon with that exact position.
That would be Sandy Petersen.
Yes, I love that wonderful jolly fat man, with his nerdy voice and suspenders. He was really a part of the heart of 90′s era id Software (along with John Romero, John Carmack, Adrian Carmack, and Tom Hall), his love for the works of H.P Lovecraft is just sort of there subtly in Doom and Doom 2 (he was mainly a mapper but he contributed a lot of great ideas in general), though it’s in Quake where the Lovecraft themes REALLY shines through.
I feel he doesn’t quite get the recognition he deserves at all times. Most seem bothered that a lot of the maps he made for Doom and Doom 2 are a bit too abstract for some people’s tastes, some being outright ugly (he was big on the idea of uncanny and alien architecture), but he was great at staging encounters and setting you up for ambushes and traps. People often forget that he made some of the most fondly remembered maps, in the same breath talking up maps that he had a big hand in putting together.
Likewise, lots of people forget that he had a monumental influence in fan made maps, ideas that he first conceptualized in Doom and Doom 2 (as well as Quake) are fundamental today, and many follow them without knowing it, even when speaking ill of him.
