Hiking Volcano Cotopaxi was not meant to be. Unfortunately and exhaustingly we hiked 2 out of the 5 hours only to have a broken cramp on (metal thingy that helps you climb on ice) halt all efforts and have to descend. What are you going to do?

How good is the internet! We scored a house sitting job on the Nicoya peninsula of Costa Rica for a month, for free. It was basically a zoo on the beach. Kind of sad to leave but keen to get back on the 'open road'.
