Hi! Welcome to my blog! This blog, since 2009, has always been the collage of me - the fandoms, the happy, the politics, the sad, the angry, and everything in between - and it remains so today. 

Today it is mostly politics; it has been a while since a fandom has tickled my fancy. I miss my fandoms but nothing has hit that sweet spot since Ted Lasso, and also, I feel compelled to use every resource I have to speak up - that includes this blog. Don’t follow me if you don’t want to see Palestinian fundraisers on your dashboard.

Things you may still see on my blog from time to time are: Julie and the Phantoms, Ted Lasso, Descendants, Heartstopper, and Avatar series (both The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra). And, of course, One Direction is my forever fandom and I will still blog about them and all of their solo efforts.

A night that was supposed to be filled with joy and preparations for Eid turned into fear, bombing, and farewell.

My children fell asleep early out of terror after a violent strike near us in Al-Rimal neighborhood, and the scenes were too painful to describe.

The war is still ongoing, and fear lives in every home in Gaza.

Recently, I spoke to Siraj on WhatsApp and he said that he feels like everyone has abandoned him. I don't say this to guilt trip anybody, I say this because it is the facts of how he feels. It made me sad to read him say that.

It is hard, for Palestinians in Gaza, to keep coming online - not because of internet connection, though that can be a problem (though some of them have eSims), but because when you are so exhausted from constantly fighting for your life against bombs, malnutrition, and RATS (yes rats), thinking of going online and making a post begging people for help is most likely the last thing on your mind.

So I will beg for him. Please, if you can afford to give anything - even $5 - I know it will mean a lot to him and his family (24 people, in case you didn't know).

We survived a bombed tent documented by Al Jazeera, only to face a slow death by sickness and heat in Gaza...

About a year ago, our tent was directly bombed while we were inside. It was completely destroyed, and all our belongings turned to ashes. My wife, my children, and I miraculously survived. This horrific bombing was documented and broadcasted in a video on **Al Jazeera**, which you can see attached to this post.

We survived the bombs, but we are still living through the aftermath. To this day, I haven't been able to rebuild a proper tent or buy basic necessities. We don't have enough mattresses or blankets, no water tank, no summer clothes for my kids, and we can't even afford cooking gas or food due to the astronomical prices and famine.

On top of this starvation, a severe **chickenpox** outbreak is now ravaging the fragile bodies of my four children (Hani, Diana, Bashar, and my infant daughter Habiba). They are crying in agony inside a suffocating tent with no electricity, no light, and no cooling fan to ease the burning itch, as we cannot afford the expensive private electricity lines in the brutal summer heat.

I appeal to your humanity, to every kind-hearted donor: please do not leave us to suffer this slow death. We urgently need your support to buy immediate medication for my sick children, a cooling fan, a lighting battery, and basic food for my family.

My name is Maram, I am 25 years old from Gaza. I dreamed of a peaceful life, spending my life with my husband and my three children... but the war turned this dream into an impossible one 💔😭. We lived through this genocide with all its painful details and we are still suffering from it😭. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip. After repairing a small room in our destroyed house, we began to live there and start over. Unfortunately, the war came back, and it was even stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter or source of income. We have used up all our savings during the war. I know I created my campaign very late, but that's because I have no other means to help my family 🙏.
