As everyone's cheering for unveiled phantom, here lies Nemo, sitting behind the desk as all the teachers were busy with the fun part of the event while they're handling all the adult stuff! Look at all these reports and budgeting and administrative work that they just finally finished! It was long enough for them to complete the tournament and combat that super "secret" Phantom!

It's so, so, so, so, so, so not fair! Let her fight!

There's a very tired Nemo gripping at the newest event related paper, along with another report that needing to be done. Maybe a police report or two?

since arriving to kanto, nemo has been everywhere and anywhere. there were jokes and rumors among those who knew her claiming she must be running around, challenging all she could, trashing youngsters and bug catchers in her path—and, they wouldn't be too far from the truth.

she'd barely checked into her room for the tournament before leaving the city. a handy abra ( was it her own or was it sabrina's, who knows ) would be the one to send her back whenever it was close to time, yanking her back to base with a simple teleport no different than a run away child.

no matter how many battles she had, it wasn't enough to fill her hunger.

it's how she ended up in viridian forest, following the trail of trainers up until she'd seen her professor lying on the ground, and rika's grand tusk lying still. a chill traveled down her spine then, an unsettling feeling along as the realization of how alone she'd been up until now -- or was it the excitement of facing something she'll never be able to defeat on her own?

she can't be sure, and she probably never will.

she just knows how her body acted.

the grip on her pokeball would tighten, and her ace in this misadventure had not been meowscarada as she initially had put forth but her dundunsparce who'd rallied by her side among these giants and beefed up vehicles.

things had only speed up even further since then.

her body shook and trembled, but she kept moving forward. scenes would go flashing by her eyes, seeing her hermano once more, up until that final match and seeing ms. geeta all over again.

had she truly processed it all?

The sash can be seen tied around one of the loops of her compression glove. In the short amount of time she's been in Kanto, it's gotten tattered and battered and dirtied beyond belief. Though, she didn't appear to be in that great condition herself. (Nothing a good wash can't take care of though!)

By now, the mega stone had been returned.

Just what had she been through while the tournament was going on?

”Hey Nemo! Got time for a chocolate break?” Celeste playfully asks before handing over a box of chocolates, “Happy Luvdisc Day!”

nose deep into the administrative work, nemo looks up at the very familiar voice. her eyes light up even before spotting the box of chocolates - if only because, finally her rival and best friend, has come to visit, and even if they're unable to spare her this hell that is called administrative work, it's always nice to see them.

she reaches up, or maybe she tries to stand? it's hard to tell because her legs have fallen asleep from sitting for so long, and she's falling hard, onto celeste as she tries to take the chocolates and -

she's laughing.

those hands , no longer around the chocolate, find themselves around celeste. she gives a friendly, maybe a little bit messy - but everything about the class president is messy - and friendly kiss on the cheek.

' happy luvdisc day to you too. ' she's still laughing. though she doesn't stand, she uses her arms to prop herself up onto her elbows a bit. there's a wide, stretching grin as she looks down. ' i love it! but ... i don't have anything for you, so uhhh. heh. '

looks like a certain someone's meowscaradas gone running around. why do all meowscaradas look smug as hell?

as she covers her eyes, nemo bites her lip, almost enough to tear skin. it takes her a second or two to recover, letting out a deep breath followed by a loud and forceful laugh. losing against leon is different, not fine per-se, but easier to accept in some way, because he's her hermano and her idol. the sun and the moon, and everything like that (platonically, of course!).

coming here and just experiencing the battles just shows her how much more there is to battles and how much more there is to learn about them. it pushes her on to be better, to come up with better strategies, and - it pushes her to want to travel and she's thankful for the experience.

but, it still stings.

maybe more than just a little.

she lets out another laugh, this time more genuine than the last, along with a breath of air - a heavy exhale like she's needing to catch her breath. ( because she is, because she's trying to push away all the weight against her chest, and all the anxiety. )

' that was an awesome battle! '

— and it really was.

it came down to the wire, at very last battle, with a few matches so close, they didn't know just who was going to win. that final attack from orthworm who'd given it their all, just like she had. even it wasn't enough, it didn't deter them.

there's still plenty of time to keep growing.

She would save and close down everything she's working on and then allow her tech to update.

But if it catches her at some ungodly hour or by surprise, you can bet she presses it right away without thinking and loses hours of work at an instant.

Nemo's favorite food is whatever she could get her hands on - whatever's made just for her that she could feel the care put into it. So, depending on the serving size and how to eat it, it'd determine how she's approach it.

It's fair to assume that she would very emotive when the food is placed on the table. Dancing, wiggling, even grabbing or holding the person who'd made it for her is to be expected. The only reason she wouldn't be grabbing or holding the person who'd gave her food is if it's something they're not fond of or dislike. She'll be good about emotional space, but would keep wiggling and waving her hands wildly. She's very expressive with her hands.

Her first bite would be slow, savoring the taste. ( Partly, if she knows the person's a bad cook, it'll be a mix of caution but she's polite enough to give it a bite before deciding right then and there if it's good or not. ) It's easy to tell if she likes it by whether or not she swallows and if she'll inhale the rest.

And she will inhale the rest of her plate if she likes it.
