FOR    THE    FIRST    FEW    HOURS    WHAT    WAS    YOUR    MUSE    FEELING?    WERE    THEY    HAPPY    OR    FOCUSED    ON    WHAT    THEY'D    LOST?    

AT    FIRST    ,    john    is    in    a    state    of    absolute    euphoria    .    something    so    similar    to    a    high    that    you    could    almost    describe    it    as    such    .    though    his    feeling    of    bliss    only    lasts    a    moment    or    two    ,    it    is    still    enough    to    bring    his    heart-rate    up    and    put    a    smile    on    his    face    .    the    last    time    he'd    felt    this    good    was    when    he    was    finally    freed    from    the    lighthouse    bunker    after    EIGHTY    -    THREE    days    of    isolation    .    he    couldn't    help    but    be    totally    delighted    by    their    escape    .    though,    as    with    all    good    things,    this    feeling    wouldn't    last    .    within    two    hours,    john    was    weighed    down    with    a    heavy    sense    of    anxiety  .    

his    claustrophobia    quickly    set    in    afterwards,    leaving    him    anxious    &    weary    .    he    suffered    from    pretty    much    constant    anxiety    &    panic    attacks    for    at    least    the    first    TWO    to    THREE    days    .    leaving    him    utterly    exhausted    by    the    time    he    began    to    grow    used    to    being    locked    in    once    more  .    

the    only    thing    he    truly    missed    from    the    ground    was    just    that;    the    ground.    he    couldn't    stop    thinking    about    being    free    .    there    were    no    walls    to    surround    him;    just    trees    &    undergrowth    .    after    spending    at    least    five    years    in    isolation    on    the    ark    +    several    times    that    he    was    trapped    &    /    or    locked    up    somewhere    on    the    ground…    he    just    couldn't    handle    the    feeling    anymore    .    it    was    an    intense    trigger    for    him    and    he    suffered    severely    .    

other    than    the    ground,    he    doesn't    really    think    much    about    who    they    lost    .    at    least,    not    at    first    .    too    caught    up    in    his    own    mind    to    really    think    of    anyone    but    himself    .    it's    at    least    a    week    before    it    hits    him    .    

WHO    DOES    YOUR    MUSE    THINK    OF    OR    MISS    DURING    THE    FIRST    24    HOURS?  

truthfully    ,    in    the    first    twenty    -    four    hours    he    thinks    of    no    one    but    HIMSELF    .    anxiety    has    him    so    self    -    absorbed    in    this    moment    that    all    he    can    do    to    not    break    down    in    control    his    breathing    .    because    of    this    ,    he    disappears    several    times    from    the    others    under    the    rouse    of    exploration.    

DOES    YOUR    MUSE    THINK    THEY'LL    MAKE    IT    TO    THE    RING    &    IN    TERMS    OF    SURVIVING    THERE    LONG    TERM?   

honestly?    john    believes    in    raven    wholeheartedly.    if    he    didn't    ,    you    wouldn't    see    him    continuously    put    his    life    in    her    hands    .    there    are    very    few    people    that    john    will    bestow    this    trust    upon.    raven    just    so    happens    to    be    one    of    them  .    

but    really,    in    terms    of    thinking    one    thing    or    another    .    he    just…    doesn't.    i    think    it's    really    just    too    much    for    him    to    think    about    it.    he    never    thinks    the    words    ❝    oh    my    god    we're    not    going    to    make    it    .    ❞    or    it's    opposite    counterpart    .    he    just    —    hopes    .    sure,    that    sounds    a    bit    cliche,    but    it's    true.    he    doesn't    believe    one    way    or    another,    he    just    hopes    that    raven    will    pull    them    through    this    .    

in    terms    of    surviving    long    term,    he    doesn't    really    allow    himself    to    think    of    that    much    either    .    as    i    said    before,    he    believes    in    raven's    capabilities.    but    the    deep    mindset    of    ❝    I    THINK    WE    WILL.    ❞    or    ❝    WE’RE    NOT    GOING    TO   .    ❞    is    just    too    much    for    him    to    handle    .    

WHAT    IS    ONE    THING    YOUR    MUSE    IS    EXCITED    ABOUT,    IF    ANYTHING?

he's    not    really    excited    about    anything.    however,    he    is    COMFORTED    by    the    knowledge    that    there    isn't    any    monsters    lurking    around    the    corner    .    he    trusts    the    tech    &    he    trusts    raven    to    keep    said    tech    working,    so    in    this    time,    he's    able    to    focus    more    on    keeping    himself    cool    rather    than    worrying    about    their    safety,    which    is    a    nice    change    of    pace.    

WHAT    IS    YOUR    MUSE    MOST    AFRAID    OF    IN    THOSE    FIRST    FEW    HOURS?    

obviously    with    john,    the    most    logical    one    is    DEATH.    however    ,    i    don't    think    in    this    instance,    that    this    is    entirely    true    .    he    worries    for    his    own    life,    sure.    as    well    as    the    others.    but    in    the    first    few    hours    his    anxiety    gets    the    best    of    him    &    he's    terrified    of    the    walls    closing    in    on    him    .   CRUSHING    him    to    death    .    (    so    maybe    it    does    tie    back    to    his    death    …    hm    .    )    while    it's    obviously    a    tad    ridiculous,    he    can't    help    but    stare    at    the    walls    for    minutes    at    a    time,    trying    to    be    sure    that    they    aren't    moving.    

DOES    YOUR    MUSE    SLEEP    THAT    NIGHT?    IF    SO    WHERE,    &    WITH    WHO?    

he    actually   DOESN’T   .    not    because    he's    busy    helping,    but    just    general    restlessness    leaves    him    staring    out    one    of    the    giant    windows    until    he    eventually    passes    out    sometime    in    the    early    morning    .    he    carries    dark    circles    for    weeks    because    of    this    nightly    pattern
