This is really nitpicky, but a small part of what makes battles in 3H a bit less satisfying than previous games is the sound of when you attack an enemy; or relative lack of sound, rather.

It sounds like the characters are just swinging at air a lot of the time, it lacks punch. It’s especially jarring coming after the 3DS games, where you just felt the crunch. Magic spell sounds, effective hits, in Fates and Echoes shooting an arrow at an enemy sounded extra painful. The 3DS critical hit sound effect is just as iconic as the GBA one.

Again, a small gripe, it’s just attacks in Three Houses lack the oomph that I like in the series.

I know AW was a side story and obvs not as much manpower went into design conceptualisation but I still REALLY do not like the Ashen Wolves’ timeskip outfits!! Esp the boys like what is that! get away from me!

So I had this dream a long while back,

It was before Byleth was released into Smash. I had a dream that instead of Byleth, Claude, Dimitri, or Edlegard, the 3H's smash rep was Ferdinand Von Aegir... On his horse.

And instead of being angry about more FE characters, Smash fans were just confused. They played Mr. Aegir, and he was unbearable broken because the horse had no hurtbox.

Then I woke up and two days later Byleth was announced and Ferdie wasn't even in the background if the black eagles section of the stage and I was just a tiny bit dissappointed.
