I'm going to be migrating this art sideblog to a new one, so I am going to repost a lot of older posts onto the new main blog!

It's going to take a long process to do so, but if you like seeing what I post:

It's been a mess for the past like 3 years but I never had the courage to actually go through with doing this earlier, I made the wrong main blog when I first got tumblr back when I didn't know how tumblr first worked. So I exported all old posts there relating to one ttrpg group, and will post art stuff there from now on!

I'm on the train on my way to the 3rd & 4th hospital visit this week, and all I can think about is how I only need 2h and I will finish this drawing.

It's the only thing I've been thinking about since I went to bed at midnight and woke up at 05:00. 😭

Let these 8h of travel and hospital time pass quickly; so I can finish drawing the ground and add the final touches!! 😭

Mushroom gob for @gobmonarch 's upcoming goblin themed Legend in the Mist game!

Not my first mushroom gob, but I've drawn and designed a lot more goblins since then, so I wanted to try the brief again but take it in a new direction. They're sisters or something idk.

I don't post any of my battlemap stuff here at all, I only sometimes post NPC images from one player group's campaign. I've been contemplating making battlemap art streams for a while now but I convinced myself that nobody would be interested in those types of streams.

I run my two group campaigns weekly so I fix map materials and maps relatively often.

Some design notes:

This is a redesign of an already established character. Nando requested some specifics but gave me a lot of freedom.

The hair texture was requested but specifics in style were left to me. I liked the high bun silhouette a lot but kept the hair around the face similar to the original, although with the new hair texture.

Rare move for me but I made the arm jewellery more symmetrical. Felt it better suited the outfit.

Yellow and white for Sarenrae, blue for Desna, rainbow for Shelyn. Sarenrae symbols have been stylised a lil but are front and centre as it's her main god. Desna symbol (necklace) and Shelyn symbol (rainbow bird charm) have been stylised a lot more. I had to find a balance between including enough of the rainbow for it to be immediately present without overpowering the design, I think I managed that.

Overall shape language hasn't changed too much. More fabric has been put around the hips creating a more bottom heavy look, but the redesign was really about changing things to suit her character's personality and beliefs better. Original art suited her at the start of the campaign, but she's become a lot more serious recently.

And here's a height comparison with Calidus on the left (my PF2e character) and the other hirelings I've drawn so far (Lakni on the middle left and Ilenna on the middle right):

What's your favorite piece you've made?

Thats a hard choice but my favorites are definitely the illustrations where I've spent alot of time into trying something new. The most recent one being this illustration I made for hobbesgob where I tried animation with PixelComposer for the first time.

An older favorite is a commission where I drew a cityscape for the first time. I can def see where I can improve on it now but its still a piece I was super proud of at the time and still use as a PC wallpaper to this day.

not sure if you know this, but tumblr on desktop has a Mass Post Editor, that lets you have an overview of all your posts and can mass edit the tags. maybe it might help? i use it very often for cataloging my posts' tags haha. you can get to it here: www (dot) tumblr (dot) com/mega-editor/published/fiiniaofficial
