I’ve been playing too much ESO lately (=always), so I did a quick color study of Mirri Elendis for warmup between commissions. I love her 🥺🌹

This is a short personal comic/ stream-of-consciousness I made to mark the last day of Deaf Awareness Month (September). It’s based on something that I’ve experienced a lot in my life, but rarely see mention of, even though it’s a big issue. As a mainstreamed deaf person who grew up without sign language or a Deaf community, I had to learn a lot about advocating for myself and my language needs.

Isolation is very alienating and painful. So the next time you meet a deaf person, please, be patient, and respect the mode of communication they choose.

Legends say that Mercury was once a garden world. Now its surface, baked in the Sun's glare, is honeycombed with forgotten Vex structures. No life stirs here. Not anymore.

Finally I can reveal what I’ve been working on!!  A really enjoyable Destiny 2 commission for @horsyunicorn, featuring his OC Rose and her Ghost, wandering the idyllic landscape of Golden Age Mercury.

I took one look at the planet and immediately knew the color scheme to pick out, which made this piece all the more fun to paint. The reds, golds, and blues were just too perfect. Thanks so much for commissioning me, and enjoy!!!!

Environment studies from ESO screenshots, some WIPs that I haven’t quite finished but felt like posting anyway. Lighting is weird.

For someone who’s never played Wattson, I sure did spend a long-ass time on those details. Let’s hope I still make it as a sci-fi concept artist.

Also, I’d like to plug the creator of the brushes I used to make this artwork!  Madeleine Bellwoar made a phenomenal set of 64 wet & dry media brushes for PS, which come with samples and a full demo video. If these would be useful to you, I strongly recommend it!!

Hello!  I’m back with regular prices because summer’s basically over. Here are some examples on the kinds of pieces I’ll create. I’m flexible and can add multiple figures to a piece, with adjusted cost.

(Note that the full-body portrait does include a detailed background, though price may be increased depending on complexity. Details can always be negotiated.)

I will not draw:  blood/gore, NSFW (tasteful nudity is fine), age-inappropriate pairings, and obviously no offensive/bigoted content.
