her eyes flickered over to his phone as he silenced it, slightly suspicious because it had been the third call in the short time they had been together. though, she voted against bringing it up, maybe it was just a colleague trying to meet him for coffee and well, she’d rather have him all to herself. “wow, the very busy and professional doctor khan changing up his plans for little old me? i’m flattered,” she smiled, a hand reaching over to grab one of his. “i’ve been good, better now that i’m here with you.”
