More worldbuilding time! Idk why it's taken me this long to get around to making some posts covering different Aigian species, but it'll be fun to continue over the coming weeks.

New worldbuilding post up hopefully tomorrow? Maybe on the weekend?
my daily affirmation as an author
I heard the wind today,
It whispered something quite estranged.
Something away from my current state.
But somewhere which I can feel, ‘not so far away.’
The stars shone bright today too.
Mostly unyielding to its own truth.
And I,
Standing below with a wish.
I prayed a soft memento.
For the whispers I heard,
To come true.
May all our wish come true.

Worldbuilding time! I really should've probably started with species a lot earlier on. This'll hopefully be part 1 of a mini-series covering Aigia's different species.
New worldbuilding post coming soon hopefully
Took a while, but pretty happy with how this one turned out.
Now for something slightly different. I’ve been working on a Cyberpunk RED semi-home brew TTRPG for a short while now - got some worldbuilding inspiration recently and ran with it. It might not be related to Aigia, but I figured it’d still be interesting to share. Might post the other occasional thing as they come along.
New (short) short story. Can't quite remember what inspired this one? I do remember writing it's first draft in a haze before falling asleep though - which is always a sign of quality in my mind.
I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted to post this one. In the end, I think I realised that as necessary as grief is, and as much as I prefer to grieve privately, I also want to celebrate and remember the life that has now come to an end.
Taz was a special cat, born with a deformity that made her purring louder and more melodic than normal. She was a constant companion through my battle with my own mental health, and gentle, soft, and kind by nature. In the times where I felt desperately alone, and the times when I was happier with myself and my life than ever before, she was there. Almost half my life, and my entire journey into adulthood, she sat by my side. Pain may numb with time, but the memories, what she meant to me, and the outside impact she has had on my life will endure forever.
I've been working on a slightly more esoteric section of the novel recently, and it's led me back to thinking about how Aigia interacts with the past that it does not know. Seemed like a good opportunity to play around with some light horror themes again.
Been a while since I last drew the Crystal Mountains. They're one of the oldest and most unchanged features of worldbuilding that I've come up with across the years, and it felt fulfilling to revisit their history, design, and meaning again after such a long time.
It's a nice feeling when inspiration strikes out of nowhere - for this piece, it was trying to steal a glance at a field from behind a dense treeline that triggered thoughts about some of the denser and darker forests that inhabit the quiet corners of Aigia. The best thing I've ever written? Maybe not. But it definitely has the kind of feeling I enjoy putting into my work.
Trying out a new art style, I feel like it came out pretty decently for a first attempt? Anyway time for a new character.
Quick flash fiction piece today about casting magic. It's an interesting topic I'd like to expound upon more in the future, since I think it's important to understand the relationship between characters and their own experiences with magic.
New creature post. Inspired, fairly apparently by dragonflies!
New short piece with some horror vibes. I'd love to try my hand at making a few more pieces with this kind of atmosphere to them.
