A colouring study (again!), but this time with lighting in the composition and a simple pose.

I’m proud of this one, because through time I didn’t change my opinion or see any mistakes in the illustration. It’s probably because I took a two week break in between the illustration. I had one rendering where it was more light with less shades (for some reason) then after two weeks I re-looked at the illustration and thought I could add a lot more of things in it. In the end, I took a few more days to add a ton of amount of details (lines, structure, shading) and fixed the illustration’s lighting. Since it was still a bit bright, I added a black layer on the character and lowered the opacity which darkened it down. And, it ended up like this! One of my favorite pieces yet, I learnt a lot from it. I wonder how my other art is to come.
