and if I say okazaki reads to me as an insanely traumatized abuse victim who is traumabonded to Kan despite him abusing her because he was the first adult in her life to not neglect her and fill some sort of parental role in her life and also the fact he's manipulated her into believing he was her only saviour the only one who could grant the privilege of being allowed to live

I think she should get moments to really sit with that- the uncomfortable inner conflict of her having to acknowledge and realise the shit Kan did to her was horrible but struggle with not viewing him positively and justifying his actions...
