They're all exaggerated, over-the-top representations of certain stereotypes or ideas. They look cute on the surface, but inside it's actual brain-boiling hell...

One day, Hasegawa Ken—now a historian who had long since graduated from the quiz show circuit—received a mysterious letter. A letter from his husband, Kamimura Kazutoshi, who had passed away from illness three years prior.

"In my restless dream, I see that town. Silent Hill.You promised that you would take me there again someday but you never did.Well, I'm alone there now... in our special place waiting for you to come to see me."

Ken knew his beloved was long dead... Yet, no matter what, he couldn't ignore this letter. Even if it was a futile quest, he couldn't refuse to follow an uncertain phantom. So, he drove alone to Silent Hill...

In this fog-shrouded town of terror, grotesquery, and darkness, Ken encountered the loud former gymnast Tamba, who claimed to be Kazutoshi's friend, and the mysterious masked phantom thief Okazaki... So, where was Kazutoshi? Was he truly in this town... waiting for Ken?
