Shun as the Phoenix Bronze knight Is a terrifying concept for me because see it this way
Ikkis Way of being the Phoenix knight Is dissapearing from the Athena knights system out of trauma and sporadicaly appearing to punch back the brainwashed Golden knights and intervene for the few people he cares about
He got so fucked up he doesn't interact shit With the Responsible Enviroment
But Guess who Is an advocator for fighting injustices
Who went face to face With a Golden knights POISONING HIM on the spot so His team could have a chance to get to the patriarch's house in sanctuary?
Who spends the plot sacrifycing himself and getting into fights With people who want to stop him from giving His life to protect others?
Who Made them conscious decision to control His pain and rage to become non confrontational as a Way to break the system's cycle of abuse?!
And Guess who STILL INTERACTS WITH THIS SYSTEM ANYWAYS
Shun would have killed everyone in sanctuary if he was the Phoenix knight for two simple reasons
1. This people are hurting people and this system must be destroyed
2. Shun Is the main ADVOCATOR FOR PEACE AND STABILITY IN THE GROUP
if he had Been the one Sent to death island, HALF of Saint Seiya would be ten chapters, divided between destroying every knight that was Sent their Way, barreling thru sanctuary and then stopping Shun from going even More apeshit
Never subestimate what happens when the advocator of Peace ..snaps
And that's also why i love His character
Because like everyone in His team, he's gone thru so Much but still has the strenght to do what's right and fight for His ideals even when the situations he's put into try to force him to surrender His Way of doing things, into becoming another perpetrator of this system
They all do in a different Way, but they still try
And they still keep their humanity
