RT Press Release Podcast Notes I took:

- Burnie and Ashley have acquired RT — every other worker is not involved and are now doing their own thing (do not bother them about RT as requested by Burnie and Ashley)

- RT brand (not the company as it’s physical buildings) and its remaining assets have been acquired by Burnie himself and his company Box Canyon Production

- Big properties like Funhouse, Achievement Hunter, and RWBY have gone off to Viz already. They are no longer apart of RT (including the shows that were given to the creators when RT first shut down)

- Main focus: acquiring RT channels such as the website, the YT channel, social media, and the shows they’re in (a list will be shown eventually)

- Burnie and Ashley will have a Q&A this weekend (only for Patrons on Patreon in regards to the acquisition of RT, BUT will be published for everyone this upcoming Monday)

- Box Canyon will have NEW projects for 2025, including renewed production of platforms, classic shows, etc.; old and new stuff will arrive!

- Classic shows will be announced over the next few months (production slate will be up and running with new shows during the summer of 2025)

Summary: With Burnie and Ashley now acquiring RoosterTeeth and it’s remaining assets such as YT channel, social media, etc while handling Box Canyon Production, there will be new projects coming soon and a list of classic shows will be announced over time during the summer! There will also be a Q&A available to patrons on Patreon where the two will answer questions and will post publicly this upcoming Monday.
