"I just feel responsible for you, too and yeah, if someone tries to harm you, leave a bit for me. Not on my Farm and right under my nose. But enough. What about your work, while mine is always the same?"
"I’ll make sure to save you a piece if anything does happen. Work’s fine, I have my underlings and my allies by my side. I can handle things."
"It’s a bit strange how mature and grown you are. I start feeling old… I forgot, I am old." She laughed. "But you seem pretty happy and I think I can forget how old I am with hot chocolate and some games, huh? What do you mean?"
"Aunt Rose, we Fables live for a long time, technically, all of us are old, but none of us actually show it. You’re not that old," Winter smiled faintly. "I’m sure we can settle down with some hot chocolate and games. I’d love that."
"As charming as your father, thanks. I wanted to hear that I’m not as old as I feel. But, HM, perks of being a fable I guess." She laughed heartily and grinned, even so Winter couldn’t see it. "Good that you’re not too old to have fun wit your Aunty."
"Of course I’m not too old to have fun with you, Aunt Rose. It would actually be a welcome change right now, if I’m honest with you."
"That makes me really happy, you know, Winter. I’m alreasy started to make hot chocolate. Do you want cream or marshmallows, or both?"
"Both, cream with marshmallows on the top. That's the best way to drink hot chocolate, Aunt Rose."
"I don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t allow you down there. I visited him myself not too long ago. It is truly a beautiful place down there."

[ She was trying her best not to let the other near her, the sharp fingers that kept gripping and aiming towards her were not something that Winter was all too comfortable in seeing. The sounds of the glass would be something that she was sure would stick with her for time to come, no matter how hard she would try to get rid of it. That is if she escaped first, that is. There was a brief moment of relief when Mary withdrew her hand away from the gap in the rocks, giving her a moment to breath. But, the relief was short lived as not too long after, her hand had returned in order to try and snatch her once more, causing Winter to recoil further back into her hole. A sharp yelp finally left her when her paw finally came into contact with the others hand, trying to pull back further in the confined space. ]
[ Mary refused to let the little one go, her aggravation and rage only fuelling her frantic grasping in hopes of landing a fatal blow. It was only a matter of time before the twisted she-devil finally had her prize, and Mary could barely contain the excitement at such a prospect. Oh, she would make her suffer. Beautiful, twisted agony would ensue— and all because of Bigby Wolf. Some players never knew when to stop going, to cease all movements and give in. In many cases, the prize was not worth the sacrifice, and the wolf would soon realise this. With a triumphant hiss, Mary grasped tightly at the little paw she felt her fingers brush, the sharp yelp a clear indication of her turn of luck. Now all that was left was to drag the wriggling little body out from her hiding place. ] ”Come on, stop your fighting! It won’t make it any less painful when I get you!”
[ Wriggling to try and get her grip free from the others sharp grip, Winter couldn't help but let out another yelp as she was trying to force her paw out of the grip, feeling her heart racing in fear as the training her dad had begun to give her wouldn't help her in facing this woman, she was far larger and scarier than Winter had ever imagined anyone to be at her young age. In all honesty, she was still confused as to why she was being targeted. She had never met the woman before in her life and she didn't think she had really done anything wrong, apart from telling her that she wasn't allowed to come and hurt her father. Winter was almost as confused as she was scared, using her free paw to try and bat away the hand that was on her, a small growl slipping past her lips.] "No! Leave me alone!"

"I doubt a few books shall last you more than a few years. What if you get ill? How will you get yourself treated out in the forest?"
"Okay, okay. I get your point. Living free and wild in the forest would suck after a while. But I guess as a sort of camping trip it would be awesome."

"I’m glad you’re here to keep us safe, sweetheart." Snow kissed her daughter’s cheek. "Your daddy would be proud of you, too.
"Yeah, we can tell Daddy when he gets back, right? So he can know I scared off the big monsters, too."
