Thirteen Reasons Why would have been a lot better if during the second season the characters opened up about their issues with each other, parents and mental health care professionals and showed that getting help isn’t bad and will make you and others around you feel better once your honest about needing help dealing with mental illness and trauma. Instead it’s more suicide, rape and “I can’t tell my parents because…..”
