One of my favorite animals in the world! In this video you can see how they usually swim around on their backs, with their snoot pointed upwards! Also just the way this video is directed is great

I strongly feel this is an animal group that deserves to go as viral in our society as giant isopods, tardigrades, mole rats or sloths have in the past few years. It's adorable and ridiculous but totally alien and there's nothing else quite like them in all the world.

Funny enough I saw these on a nature documentary in the 80s when I was so tiny the memories are half distorted.

Knowing them that early in life I took them for granted and didn't realize they were obscure until I was an adult and it suddenly occurred to me I had never seen them talked about again or even featured in books.
