heres my entry for the aquascaping contest!!!  its so hard to get good lighting on my tank because of the window right behind it, so the first picture here is the main picture (at night, when the light is best) and below are a few highlight pictures so you can see some of the details better.  left to right the highlight pictures show the emersed growth coming out the top of the tank, rotala and moss patterns in the back left corner of the tank, and a closeup on the large anubias attached to the center driftwood!  c:

i love betta fish and i KNOW there are some seriously expensive fish out there but this jump in bids is literally UNFATHOMABLE to me

With an online auction like this there’s always a chance that the seller (or someone that the seller knows) drove the price up like that on purpose to get more money. That’s a ridiculous jump in price

Seeing the location of the fish, I know exactly who the seller is. I watch them on ebay, because they’re located about 45 minutes from where I live. I’ve seen their auctions go up to 1k before, but it was on a gradual scale, for a ridiculously beautiful (one of a kind) fish. Never bought from them, but I’ve also never heard anything bad about them, and have seen many of their betta go for very low prices.

Being said, I would never buy a fish at such prices, not even if I had an unlimited amount of money.
