I just finished watching Objectified on Netflix. It’s a film about the design of everyday objects and interactions (including software). It’s a discussion about what makes great design great, and they pull from a wide range of experts in the field - from powerhouses like Dieter Rams and Jonny Ive to journalists and museum curators.
It’s only about 75 minutes, so it’s limited in depth but broad in scope, which is nice when you want to take a look at the bigger picture. I also recognize that it’s somewhat outdated (it came out in 2009). Having said that there were a couple of concepts that I took away from the film.
