So, as most people probably expected, Soul won the Oscar.

I just hope the team behind Onward knows how much the fan base it has adores the film, even if they didn't win some prestigious award 💙

Okay, so I have a headcanon that Ian was scared of the Manticore mascot at the Tavern. It evolved into he was terrified of it as a toddler, and the memory got more or less repressed, which is why he forgot the Tavern exists. It was made as a goofy headcanon at first, but the more I look at it the more I think it's plausible. You saw Ian's reaction when he was hugged by the mascot in the film, but did anyone catch his face after Barley finally got the mascot to let go?

I have this headcanon where Barley just randomly grabs people and hugs them. His mom and Ian are the usual “victims”, but it could be any of his friends; he sees somebody and just runs up and hugs them and spins them around, like “Hug time!”

I'm debating if he's that loveable of a guy, but, hell, yeah, he's that much of a hugger, he'll hug anyone

Imagine a moment on Onward the series where Ian or another wizard/warrior they meet, you just know the series would give them new friends, swoops in last minute to save the day and does an epic hero landing but their moment is ruined by Barley pulling them into a big bear hug with a cheek kiss "Barley, you ruined my cool entrance!"
