I was so thirsty for their interaction and got Keith tackling Lotor down the stairs so itās better than nothing. This is my imaginary conversation they had after the Olympic torch scene.
woke: Jet is the first boy who ever showed romantic interest in Zuko, the first person to tell Zuko that liking boys isnāt a bad thing. Being loved in a way he never thought he would be...it changes him. Or it would have. See, Jet fell in love with Lee, not Zuko. So when the truth comes out and Jet takes it all back, itās the first time Zuko realizes that as long as he is still loyal to his father and the Fire Nation, people like Jet and everyone else heās met in the Earth Kingdom will never forgive him. Except, rather than learning that lesson, Zuko takes all of his hurt and runs back to where heās comfortable: his father and sister. Heās used to hiding his sexuality, but he has no idea how not to be loyal to his father. When he does finally realize who he really is, Zuko thinks back to Jet and wonders, if they saw each other again, if Jet could ever forgive him. Itās only when he sees the Ember Island Players that he realizes heāll never get the chance to find out...
