Little Story of some little Tang time
Breaking news: Jean and her desk neighbour Daniel suffer infestation of drosophlia due to bin neglect and absence of cleaner at work during christmas and new year break. A banana peel and abandoned apple core were sighted in the bin before the break. On the first day of staff arrival to the lab, banana peel and apple core were immensely rotten. Destruction of banana was beyond repair. "When i accidentally kicked the bin, drosophila infestation was like millions of tiny helicopters flying out from the bin, except there was no noise. It was terrifying.", Daniel claimed. He was then using Kerr Cavicide, a hospital grade disinfectant which claims to kill poliovirus, HIV, HBV and HCV and many more virus, obtained from the laboratory as an attempt to kill the fruit flies. The result was mildly effective at first. "I think if it can kill HIV, it must be able to kill flies," Daniel added. At the end Jean and Daniel concluded that the drosophlia which largely propagated inside this very bin were basically drowned by Daniel's excessive compulsive spraying. This experiment resulted unconclusively since there was no significant decent control. Last but not least, Jean is still surrounded by this colony of the fruit flies and have no where to complain except to another friend who actually works on drosophila development.
