âRedecorate?â Cylana laughed and tilted her head a bit, âHow does that sound, doc?â She asked although he was pretty much checked out by this point. The conversation was not incredibly interesting - at least to Nazario, she was sure. Cylana wasnât incredibly interested in it either. Anastas killed multiple people day to day but when he brought someone back it was interesting enough. Well.. at least interesting enough to get Cylana to stop making out with Nazario in the kitchen.
She could hear him coming. Her hearing wasnât the same as his.. but she could hear him and as the door cracked open she turned her head in that general direction. âAnastas,â she began as she looked at her brother. He shut the door behind him and Cylana turned back to face Kaisa although she didnât take her eyes off the other woman while she spoke to Nazario. âMore company.â She stated but he probably already was aware of that.
Stas had made a slightly disgusted sound in the back of his throat as he entered the room. The boots he wore landing almost silently against the flooring. He hadnât said anything and had only nodded to Cylanaâs greeting. Upon approaching the group he glanced towards his sister. She, like usual, was sitting on Nazarioâs lap while he looked like he was sleeping.Â
Removing his attention from the couple he looked back at Kaisa. âDoctor James Princeley, age twenty-seven, has been eliminated.â His voice was not exactly robotic but monotone which proved that he was not excited nor upset by this information. He glanced at Cylana and then back at Kaisa. âExperimentation.âÂ
Almost immediately after learning of this news Cylana rolled her eyes. âYouâre not going to die.â She said and gave Kaisa a pointed look. âAt least not by his hand.âÂ
Kaisa's eyes moved to the man behind Cylana as she spoke to him, waiting for his reaction. When all the two women received was a smile and a nuzzle into Cylana's neck, they turned their attention away from him. The second Cylana said Anastas' name, Kai's head snapped into the direction of the door, it opening and Anastas stepping through. Same as Cylana, Naz was aware of Stas' presence at their home well before he was even at the door, and as Cylana announced more company, he let out a slow sigh, relieved that he and Cylana could get back to having the house to themselves. Kai stood up as soon as he entered, her hands gripping at her jacket.Â
Naz smiled at Stas' reaction to seeing the two of them entangled as they usually were. He hid his face with Cylana's hair and neck, his lips softly brushing against her skin. Anastas' reactions to Cylana and his relationship only tended to fuel him on, amusing him at great lengths. The two of them have never had any sort of modesty when it came to their relationship, and he didn't foresee it happening any time soon.Â
As Anastas began to speak, Kai's eyes found his, furrowing her brows. She didn't say anything, not even sure of a response to that. She was aware he was dead, and she assumed he got the information from his wallet or something. She bit her lip and her gaze went back to Cylana for a quick moment, but when Anastas said that single word, it shot back to him, her eyes a little wide. "I --" she began, being cut short by Cylana.Â
"Okay," Nazario cut in, swiftly standing up, Cylana in his arms. "If you no longer need us," he began walking away, his voice nonchalant, "you can show yourselves out." Kai watched as the two of them disappeared up the staircase, turning back to Stas after they were gone.Â
"Where do I... Where am I -- or, what am I supposed to do now?" Kai failed to let the words spill out, her thoughts running all over the place.
