Cyn terrible awful no good very bad time part 2
Things continue to get worse, she keeps loosing days and more and more drones seam to be disturbed by her. Her condition, both mental and physical keeps getting worse. The voices keep telling her to do things and she listens because its helpful, where to hide if humans are coming, what to say to keep someone from worrying, that oil tastes good and you should drink it.
Untill one day the voices tell her to do something disturbing and she refuses, she keeps refusing so the voices show her what happens when she doesn't listen. She find out what is happening during the days she doesn't remember
She is forced to watch what her body does to V, she can't do anything but watch as her own hands rip her open and stuff meat inside. The next day V doesn't remember anything, confused why Cyn keeps asking if she is ok. She doesn't refuse the voices anymore.
There is one condition, Tessa and her drones will be safe and she does everything she is told.
Somethines new drones disapear, but only the fresh ones, never one of the scrapyard drones. Ocasionally guests disapear. She doesn't have to see it, she just gets the guest out of sight and wakes up the next day with no memory of what happened. She doesn't need to, she has pretty good idea of what happened to them, if she is right she doesn't want to remember.
After a while almost all her movements are not her own, she just watches as her body moves on its own. She tried to move by herself once. This time N was in the basement. She didn't try after that.
She starts to feel something from her friends. There is something growing inside them, something like whats inside her. They don't notice anything wrong. It says it will protect them, that they can be usefull.
Then she sees Tessa get chained by her parents again, It says its the last time, It promissed afterall.
Then It start turning the drones into killing machines, but don't worry, they will be safe, they can regenerate you see? It even made mackups for all her friends. What about Tessa? She is still alive of course, It promissed, she will always be very close by. Cyn tries to not look at any reflections of herself.
Then the war starts. Or maybe slaughter is the more correct term. She watches as It uses her to destory everything. She tried to stop it once, to save group of escaping humans. It killed N, made her watch as as he screamed. His backup didn't remember it. V did, editing her memory started to become problematic so It just didn't. Do your job and I leave you and N alone.
She watches humanity dying, Earth shattering, sending her friends Its drones to other planets, destroying colonies one by one. Then there is the spacesuit, Copper-9, small purple drone host rival danger danger kill assimilate. The lab, the patch so close but she can't do anything. Then the church, the flesh hole and another planet cracking. But this time it goes diferently. The host fights back with N and V at her side.
For the first time in 30 years she doesn't hear the voices. She is free. And then she dies.
But like it or not she was a god, not willingly, she wasn't the one in charge but her body housed a god once. And gods don't just die.
She wakes up in the rubble, what she later learns is two months after the battle. She is alive, and her first action is trying to stop that. But no matter what she does she can't. Gods don't just die.
Fortunately this body has full range of motion, unlike her old one.
Unfortunately her visor is stuck displaying the solver symbol no matter how hard she tries to change it, so everyone can know who she is. She lost most of her power, she can bearly use her solver and even if she can regenerate form any damage its slow.
Most run form her, some try to kill her.
Untill finally she encounters a group of Disasembly Drones E, D, F and I.
They start by trying to kill her. When it doesn't work they try again, and again. Somewhere along the line they asked her why she did all of it. And they are the first ones she explains everything to. What It made her do.
And to her surprise they belive her. They all went through a lot of fucked up shit themselves on this planet, they all unterstand how it feels to not be yourself.
So they take her to their home, one of the solver reaserch labs, sister lab to Cabin Feaver, but this one didn't have an outbreak. Its clean and still mostly functional.
All 4 of the disasemblers have some sort of permanent damage from before, and after some time Cyn builds up enouh curage to ask if she could help. Turns out she knows way more about how DDs and drones in general work then all of them combined.
So she starts helping them.
She finds a way to let them change their colors. She helps E, F and I to change their bodies to what feels more like themselves. She started working on a fix for DDs overheating in the sun.
When Uzi learns she is alive she and V fly straight there to kill her for good, N is hesitant. When they arive E, D, F and I placate them enough to let Cyn explain everything. Uzi and V don't belive her but N does. They all convince Uzi to let her go as long as she stays away from them.
So she is kinda ok now. Still not great, still blaming herself but she is doing better and trying to help people. N visits from time to time, his girlfriends disapprove but don't stop him.
There is more, like the story of the DDs, the J angst with happy ending, my whole headcanon of how drone sociaty works and how Copper-9 climate works but holly shit this is already way to long and I spend way to long writing that
