some WIPs that I deeeeefinitely haven’t been working on when I should be working on my cosplay…. I think I’m almost ready to put a name to this project, though

Warlord Prince Icknatius in his casual captain getup

[OCs] Icknatius' first encounter with Escher, the unlicensed doctor/black market organs dealer who would later become the ship's medic and biomech technician.

Escher abducted the prince - during one of his binges when he was being particularly careless - and held him for ransom

Some fun facts about this one

The planet the video feed is coming from is Syren-3. It lies in a solar system just outside the web of the Echteolyte Empire and is very well known to be the hideout of thieves and killers. It's also known to produce much stronger drink and substances due to the lack of regulation.

The olive-y parts of Escher are actually their flesh, the rest is a suit. Icknatius didn't see his face or hear his real voice for a while.

Icknatius is really obnoxiously hard to kill, but that doesn't mean he feels any less pain.

probably my last drawings of 2025, some fruits and flowers of Scab'Ruyn

Nganosse, unripe on the vine and ripened + cross section with pit

Torchflower, mature and dried

Nganosse is a sacred fruit on Scab'Ruyn, holding great importance to the reproductive cycle of Echteolytes. The meat of the fruit is incredibly soft, tender, and overly-sweet. It comes apart in gooey clumps and melts in the mouth. The pit is firm with a thin rubbery exterior. The skin of the fruit, when ripened, is soft, almost squishy to the touch, with a fine layer of fuzz. When unripe, they are firm and rubbery.

Torchflower grows wild across much of the planet. It is still harvested and burned for rituals as it was thousands of years ago. Approximately 2 meters tall when in full bloom.
