christian: sounds like a plan than, mate. they do and it's really nice. i have a small portable one for travels and it's keyboard is so nice and rather quite. it's also touch screen, which is nice as well. this we'll sadly never know, but i agree with you completely.

tom: i did youtube back in the day and now the culture of it is completely different. which i completely get that things have to evolve but the way some things evolve isn't always the best thing in the world. i think i got frustrated with the level i had been on so that was my solution to my problem. huh i'm going to have to look up this diamond colouring one when i get a chance to. i put a game called magic sort on my phone the other day and that's been a lot of fun. you're in for a ride with me picking my brain, just a fair warning. tom: they make keyboards for tablets now and that just baffles me. but again it goes back to the whole evolving thing. see i don't know if i'd like a touch screen or not though i suppose if i were to do any art digitally that it would come in handy. though i'm more a paper/canvas type of drawer. some things in life need to be studied with people. i'm kidding of course. tom: i'll keep trying until i get it right. 'cause the thing is that you can't give up on yourself. once you do that you just start giving up on others and it's not a good thing.

Oh that's totally fine. I think audio books are going to be easier for me since I can at least try to multitask on things if I need to. The joys of being so busy I don't have the time to sit and read a physical copy of a book these days.

i never have time to read myself usually as i'm always juggling a bunch of things at once. never tried an audio book either. but are you currently filming or just busy because of the holidays?

I think in a lot of cases things are worth the wait, so I think I can accept it, myself. I can agree with that — tours tend to fly by, I think the work process is a bit slow and then the most fun times feel so fast. It's all so bittersweet, but I accept all I can, really. Makes sense, I mean want time with your families — unless you would like to see them or even one or something during. We all live together, a lot of groups do for a period then some might part ways enough to having their own places and then just see each other for work reasons.

i'm just now learning that a lot of things are worth the wait. though i think what truly helped with learning that is working on paddington. and it wasn't that i've been an impatient person just with the way things career wise have gone, where we were instantly accepted and blew up the way we did; that having something that i worked on constantly for five years hoping that everything would go well in the end really helped me learn the lesson better than i could hope for. i agree with this that the work process can be slow but there's a great reward at the end of it. the most we do during the holidays is text each other after we've parted ways after the dinner. okay i have a question in regarding to a lot of the groups living together - is it so everyone gels before you even perform together?

I guess I hadn't thought of it before, but it does take place during Christmas. It's apart of the story, right? I've seen the animated versions, but the Jim one is always the one I go to. It's a freaking classic. You mean like the really old Rudolph movie? I think I know what you're talking about.

it is and there's people that will argue that it's not a christmas movie. the animation one will always be classic of course but jim's version is a masterpiece because of the way he embodied the character. i watch both versions. yes that one! like why it is so creepy?

no rush, take your time, but eager to see you both at a show and can easily hang after. yes, exactly and it's pretty surreal for me as this is something i tried to make happen a lot and waterparks just — worked. a dream for any musician, but also — a bit scary. means you have time before you're back on stage and i saw live it up. i don't have any idea how next summer will be but how funny would it be if we're on tour and just cancel shows so we can see a mcfly show. it'd be the funniest shit ! thank you so much ! this year was your year then, my friend. let's how that continues.

i'll have to prod mr. poynter about this show thing. i'll go to his house and prod if i have to. i don't know how many times you've tried before waterparks finally worked; just the fact that you kept going and it's paying off massively is wonderful to see. it is a bit scary i will agree. but there's a difference between wanting to put in the hard work to keep the train going versus you had a big hit and you just fade because you really thought you could coast on that hit. or maybe people can't get past that song. whatever the case may be. then there's people that are really talented that never seen the recognition that they deserve. haha, please, you need to make this happen. just cancel a show to come see us. anytime mate! here's some news that happened recently - paddington has been the most nominated show for the whatsonstage awards, paddington has also been extended until 2027 and my book the christmasaurus and the night before christmas is number one in the country. next year can only go up in terms of what happens.

I've only recently been introduced to the ritual that is a sunday roast and i'd almost say exactly that with far more intensity. I actually think the roast sounds more peaceful, but honestly the holiday's bring a lotta family and people i care for around again and that's entirely what i feel is needed right now. Oh dude, maybe not "competition" cause i feel like that'd turn ugly but i've definitely tried and failed with those or usually by the time it even stays sticking i've already ate all the gum-drops ! I totally need to know more about the competitive side of it though and if you're a master at the craft ? Okay firstly i won't judge as hard if it's the end of novemeber and if it more that you just prefer doing it a certain way or nobody else wants to help ?

well the kit doesn't give you much that's why you buy extra. which is why i make my own gingerbread pieces and buy all of the stuff. plus it allows for a bigger surface to work on that way for more elaborate things. oh i'm a master at it because i'm visualizing the house in my head before i start putting it together. nope, beginning of november - therefore judge all you want. it's not that i prefer to do it a certain way or nobody wants to helps; it's mainly that i live on my own and can do as i wish.

Hm, that’s a good question. I think she would say maybe a film I did called The Fallout. The subject matter is really heavy, but I think she was really proud of my performance. She thinks that she’s a movie critic sometimes, but I would never tell her any different. Are you still close with her though?

i've heard of that one, but i haven't seen it yet. i'm so behind on everything. the subject matter is rather heavy and that could be why i've put it off for so long. it takes the right mindset to watch it. hey parents telling you the truth is a good thing. we're close but i don't see her a lot - i don't see my family a whole lot in general.

just up ? did you decorate at all ? i have a fake tree, i sorta leave up, but it's a white one and i had it decorated for halloween and i took time taking it down and getting out the christmas decorations. it does and i think it's bittersweet as it's a nice time and also ends too soon. no, which sucks in some cases i think — and makes the break feel, less.

fully decorated. c'mon now this is me we're talking about - i couldn't leave the tree bare while i was away on tour. if i enjoyed halloween as much as i do christmas; i'd probably have two trees. though the one is probably enough for me. time needs to slow down but it won't so here we are cruising into another year rather quickly.

Exactly and who doesn't love having it up longer. Plus the lights are great to have around as well. I don't either. If you want your tree up now, fine by me. If you want it up later, it's all good as well. Having more holidays sounds nice but I'd miss a lot of them. Yeah. She lives in the states. We both take turns flying over to one another when our schedules aren't as full. It can be but we've learned to make it work. Video chatting has been helpful. I mean I'd be fine with that, haha. They'd be confused for a bit I'm sure.

i've read how some people put their tree up the day after thanksgiving and then take it down the day after christmas. seems a bit short on the enjoyment factor to me but like you said it's all good either way. i'm tempted to get extra lights in boring white, to put around my house in certain areas for all year round. i'd miss a lot of them too so i'm thankful that i live where i do. no offense to anywhere else in the world and all of the holidays that they have of course. i'm sure a lot of the different holidays around the world are quite lovely. where are you based usually? technology is helpful for long distance that is for sure.
