In the kitchen of the new apartment, Jieun raided the area— mostly to find the apples. Although, even though the white rabbit is successful, he isn’t really skilled at peeling the apple himself, without Eddie he has no one to peel it for him! Well, dang. This is a problem. He’ll just have to get over this hurdle somehow… Should he really try to peel it himself? The thought is extremely tempting, especially if he can get a delicious, sweet apple in the end.
Although, a constant tapping against the floor made the boy’s ears twitch. The ruby eyes look down only to see this tiny, orange bird pitter patter across the floor. Did this household have more than one pet? Jieun kneels down with his newly acquired apple in hand, and sets it out to the exotic looking bird. It perks up at the shiny red fruit, and Jieun doesn’t really say much. He only observes the creature as it blinks at the fruit, and grinds its beak.
“Do you eat apples too…?” He murmurs softly, the thought that this bird could be someone’s, or wild doesn’t even occur to him. Oops… Although, the boy does turn his head towards the sound of approaching footsteps.
"Yes…?"
[ She didn't realize she had taken a longer nap than expected until she had woken up. It seemed to happen at an instant, too. Suddenly sitting up, causing the small bird resting on her chest to flap its wings and make its way out of her room. Serena let out a loud sigh - she was supposed to be taking a walk and learning more about the place she was forced to suddenly stay in. A small sigh left her lips as she ran her fingers through her hair, using that just to brush it down. ]
"Fletchling?"
[ Hearing how raspy her voice is, Serena clears her throat and gets up from the bed. She took a quick glance in the mirror, brushing down her clothing to make sure there wasn't an obvious sign she had just taken a...longer nap than anticipated. Placing her fingers upon the door frame, Serena takes a small step back and hears an unfamiliar voice coming just from the kitchen.
It didn't sound anything like her...husbands voice, and she had nearly forgotten about having a kid until that moment. If that was who she thought it was, she might as well just go check on them very quickly and introduce herself. Hey, who knows? Maybe they'll end up becoming one of her best friends. She turned to enter the kitchen, and a look of content formed on her face when she saw the sight of a boy feeding her pokemon happily. ]
"A-Ah, hello there! I'm Serena. I guess I'm your mother..?"
