Quite probably three of my favourite ladies across all of Disney and Pixar animation, and all contained within one franchise. Flawed, complicated, unique killer queens. So thank you, Brad Bird, for these icons really (and please sir, can I have some more Evelyn for the, hopefully, inevitable number 3).

Dear friends, artists with beautiful nsfw blogs, artists with beautiful completely sfw blogs the fucked tumblr algorithms will probably determine as nsfw anyway, 

I know I haven’t been the best at maintaining an up-to-date profile here, but I hear whatever the tumblr equivalent to nearer my god to thee is starting to play for a lot of people, and blogs are being packed. So in case of mass exodus within the fortnight, below are a couple of places I’m mooching around these days. 

This whole thing is horrible and ridiculous, but I’m glad that we have the option to find our favourite people on various other life-rafts outside of the disaster this time around. I’m very grateful to know so many of the motley collection of peeps who set up shop here and made it super easy to fall in love with their work, which I probably never would have seen elsewhere. Hopefully I’ll see all you magnificent weirdos out there.

A couple of years back The Night in the Woods guys released a great supplemental game called Lost Constellation, which I replay every now and again because it really is a beautiful and surprisingly affecting little game. I thought it’d be interesting, so I went and found all the emma frost redesigns i could that i’ve done. I’m sure there are more, but I don’t know where they are.

it’s funny that only one of these is actually official (or atleast used in a book - the fifth image)

the rest are just fun explorations i did over the last few years.

i don’t feel Emma should have just one costume, so I like adapting it depending on my mood or what kind of Emma I’m trying to get across. she’s one of the most fashionably versatile characters in comics, so that’s something that should be used.

Kris’ take on Emma is one of my favourite things in the X-world – such a perfect example of how to design sexy/stylish costumes that suit a particular character and context! Aaaaa. So great.

No one thinks showing skin is innately bad in and of itself, it just sucks when you see Emma forced into an ill-fitting (and poorly-drawn) Halloween Store Corset/Thong Combo over, and over, and over again. It suits Emma’s personality to show skin, to value style over innate practicality, but it’s so much more satisfying when she looks comfortable, powerful, and fashionable all at the same time.

Fury Road is a masterpiece oh my god. And Furiosa is just... the most perfect bamf queen you could ever hope for. I’m more than a bit in love with her. If you haven’t seen the new Mad Max yet, get thee to a cinema pronto

NIGHT IN THE WOODS SUPPLEMENTAL #1: LONGEST NIGHT

Gather around the bonfire and trace the constellations!

Once in a while we will be releasing supplementals: small things we put together quickly and simply and release to you. Stripped down, experimental, fun stuff. Think of them as our b-sides and demos. It’s not a sneak peak at the full game, or even part of it. Very little of it is indicative of Night In The Woods proper. It’s of questionable canon. It’s weird. But it’s here, and it’s now yours.
